        ABDOMINOPELVIC ULTRASOUND SCAN REPORT
The liver is normal in size (spans 15.3cm), with regular outline and demonstrates
homogeneous echotexture, with mild increase in parenchymal echogenicity,
suggestive of grade 1 diffuse fatty liver. No focal mass lesion seen within the liver. The
porta hepatis is normal.
No intra or extra-hepatic ductal dilatation is seen.
The gallbladder is normal in size, content and wall thickness.
The spleen is normal in size (9.6cm in span) and echotexture.
The pancreas appears normal in dimensions and echotexture.
Both kidneys are normal in size (Right kidney - 12.7cm x 6.1cm, Left kidney- 11.8cm x
5.8cm), shape, outline and position. There is moderate dilatation of the pelvicalcyeal
system of the right kidney and the proximal ureter, with mild cortical thining and
moderate loss of cortcomedullary differentiation of the kidney, suggestive of grade 3
(moderate) hydroureteronephrosis. The left kidney shows minimal increase in
parenchymal echogenicity, with preserved corticomedullary differentiation. An
echogenic mass (7x5mm) with posterior acoustic shadowing is seen in the lower pole
of the left kidney, suggestive of left renal calculus. No left pelvicalyceal dilatation seen.
The visualized bowel loops are normal in calibre and peristalsis.
There is increased gaseous shadowing of the stomach and bowels.
The appendix was not visualized. No right iliac probe tenderness.

There is no ascites or para-aortic lymphadenopathy.
The urinary bladder shows good distension with echo-rich urine and normal wall
thickness (4mm). No calculus or mass lesion seen in situ.
Prostate gland is normal in size (3.1 x 2.9 x 4.1cm, vol. 19.3ml; corresponding to
19.3gm), with regular outline and demonstrates homogeneous parenchymal echoes.
Conclusion: Findings are suggestive of:
(1) Grade 1 (mild) diffuse hepatic steatosis.
(2) Right-sided obstructive uropathy due to ? ureterolithiasis.
[right grade 3 (moderate) hydroureteronephrosis].
(3) Left renal calculus [small non-obstructing nephrolithiasis].
