Teatro Meridian
(Meridian Theater)
I derive the title from the Tagalog translation of “Meridian Theater” As simple as it looks it tells a lot
about the theater's purpose which is pursuing creativity using our bodies to enact what we envision and
convey a story using our acting skills. We want to embody the ideals of our School through our club in the
form of Artistic Performance. Teatro Meridian may be simple but rest assured that our performance will be
like a great titan that seeks greatness and glory through artistic means.
The Insignia of the Club symbolizes freedom of expression using different skill sets that the students
may possess. Some students are born with a passionate heart for Acting which is why there is a theatrical face.
Some students are born dancers and others are singers. I believe that Theater Performances are not only
acting but it is a combination of all the skills of the performers that creates a harmonious and great
performance. The color of the logo signifies the color of our school and it also denotes Confidence and
Passion. The grand drape means that all the performances that the soon-to-be members of the club will be
their sign of Entrance and End of their Performances.
Mission:
To empower students to be creative and express themselves through Artistic means. Maximizing their
Potential as great actors and actresses by providing a nurturing environment rich with bonds, learnings, and
expression of oneself through various activities in the future that are competent and can hone their skills in
Theater and Arts.
Vision:
To create opportunities for aspiring actors and actresses to venture to the path of Artistic
Performances whether it is Future School Events or Local Competition here in our Region.

Expressing Oneself through Artistry.
Objectives:
Be able to convey a message through our performances.

To showcase the talents of the students.

As the Theater Adviser, I would like to propose a letter for approval of the creation of the Theater club
named “Teatro Meridian” and the following activities that will lead to the formation of the group and Debut
performance for the upcoming “Buwan ng Wika” for the school year 2024-2025 from August 12 to 30, 2024

Announcement for the Opening of Theater Club on August 12 (Monday).
Audition on August 14 (Wednesday).
Orientation of the Qualified Theater Actors/Actresses on August 19 (Monday)
Practice for the Upcoming “Buwan ng Wika” (Tentative Date).
Debut Performance on the Day of the “Buwan ng Wika” on August 30 (Friday)
