Police stations are headed by a s ation house officer (SHO) who may be of inspector or sub-inspector rank, assisted by an assistant sub-inspector, head constables, and constables. Purpose of Visit Understanding the physical structure and system of Police station. Nature of duties performed by Police officers in a police station. Know about cases and case diary, Malkhana, and others activity of police and working system of police station To see the functioning system of the police station, that how the FIR is lodged. And see the observation of the role of police in our society with changing new trending styles of crime in today’s days to days Organizational structure of police As here the structure of the Madhya Pradesh of police system are following in a manner, at the above place which gives an information about the police ranks with their a proper structure in MP Physical observation Reception: As soon as we ent fed the police station, we saw that there was a table on the right hand side i.e. reception and there were also two police officers and those who are there to see the detail ie. without the information and whatever attendance ete, is also seen and from the All the information is received, if any case comes, it is entered there. Maalkhana:As soon as we entered the police station, we saw a consignment in the back room, where all the confiscated items were kept there like sticks, guns and jeweler, money, TV, slippers and other such items were confiscated there by the police, The stufT in the dining room Police lock-up: As soon as we entered the police ion, behind a big room, a big lesson was hem, they built, where the prisoners are kept, there whatever thin happen to them after beat are questioned and information is given to them. It is given by conducting that invest which gives them support to the police officers Investigation room : We also saw an investigation room inside the police station, inside which investigation is done, some files are also kept there and some goods are made right here by the plain police and it is easy to investigate, Duty officers: As soon as the police station starts in the day, all the officers reach there in the ‘out for their work, some look at the file, some do their moming and do assembly and investigation, see the prisoners in the jail and some do their work there. live means they do not stay free at all and keep doing their day and nighi FIR:First Information Report (FIR) is a written document prepared by the police when they receive information about the commission of a cognizable offence. It is a report of information that reaches the police first in point of time and that is why it is called the First Information Report. It is generally a complaint lodged with the police by the tim of a cognizable offenc or by someone on his/her behalf. Anyone can report the commission of a cognizable offence Record room:in the police station, we also saw the record room where everything ineluding many papers and documents was kept together like many old cases and old new documents and everything there complete data is recorded where everything whose case file Everything is kept the same and what is completed by the old others also gets the same. Personal observa' ion cent {o the crime branch in Just now we learned a lot by going to the police station, as if we wei the police station by TI sir, where we saw a lot of new things that we had never seen, there we gave us a lot of rooms in which different officers were different. do different work and there we also saw control room in which same order is given by sir it covers entire Gwalior area and there we also met many different officers in crime branch and their nature very sweet was very good and he had different work where he met a crime madam also kept a lot of files there and his work is very hard he keep working hard for us day and night and learned a lot ¢ is always a lot to learn in the police station, even thot a police officer is such a person who works for us day and night, watching crimes happening around us and protecting our lives. And their requirement is important for us, police officer is a person who works day and night for us, A police officer issues citations for minor offenses like traffic violations and testifies in court cases. Polive officers also provide first aid to road accident or crime victims before paramedics
