Welcome to Troops 1211 and 211!
Troops 1/211 require a sizeable network of parent/adult volunteers to ensure that all Scouts have a positive experience. Please take
the time to complete these items and introduce yourself to the adult leaders named on this checklist, as this will help you efficiently
learn about our Scouts BSA program and understand how the Troops operate. Most of these contacts are available during Troop
Meetings in the “Flex Space” (the large room adjacent to the gymnasium where the Scouts typically meet). Experience has shown
that youth have a more robust Scouting experience when their parents are actively engaged with the Troop – so please jump right in!

Register with the Troop and Scouts BSA: If new to Scouts, register at scouting.org and pay National 1st week Jason Marsack
Dues; If transferring from a Cub Scout Pack or another Troop, ask your Troop/Pack Committee Chair 713 927 2290
or Cubmaster/Scoutmaster to transfer your Scout’s record to Troop 211 or 1211;
Meet the Troop Treasurer and pay Troop dues ($120, pro-rated if paid after January) plus $20 for a 1st week Nagesh Thukral
