Wherever the quill devil lurks, the ink spawn is most certainly
close by. Stalking the stalker, this eldritch creature is more
than willing to make a proper counter-offer to thwart the
tiny devil‘s plans. While the quill devil goes for the life force
of its contractors, the ink spawn directly attacks the mind.
Oddly enough, acts of physical aggression between these two
competitors are quite uncommon...
Innate Spellcasting (2/Day). The ink spawn can innately cast
I N K S PAW N invisibility, requiring no material components. Its innate
Tiny aberration, lawful evil spellcasting ability is Intelligence.
Shielded Mind. The ink spawn is immune to scrying and to any
Armor Class 11 effect that would sense its emotions, read its thoughts, or
Hit Points 11 (2d4 + 6) detect its location.

Voice in the Dark. The ink spawn can telepathically communicate
with unconscious creatures over a distance of 5 feet. An
unconscious creature can only reply with short messages of
STR DEX CON INT WIS CHA acceptance or rejection.
