Creativity is the ability to transcend traditional ways of

thinking or acting, and to develop new and original ideas,

methods or objects.

In this day and age of development and technology, there is always

a place for unique thinking to help grow business ideas.
The idea of creativity today means thinking out of the box, understanding there might be
limits to what you can do, trying to overcome these, and improving on the results. Creativity
involves more than just thinking things up, it is taking those ideas and developing them.

Creativity is the interaction between the learning environment, both physical and
social, the attitudes and attributes of both teachers and students, and a clear
problem-solving process which produces a perceptible product
Creativity is valuable in education because it builds cognitive complexity.
Creativity relies on having deep knowledge and being able to use it effectively.
Being creative involves using an existing set of knowledge or skills in a
particular subject or context to experiment with new possibilities in the
pursuit of valued outcomes, thus increasing both knowledge and skills. It
develops over time and is more successful if the creative process begins at a
point where people have at least some knowledge and skills.

Creativity and innovation have been highlighted as essential skills for the
21st century, especially if we consider that both skills can promote human potential
by eliciting positive aspects of the individual. These skills have been valued in
different contexts. The purpose of this text is to discuss the notions of creativity and
innovation as independent constructs and to discuss the relationships between these
concepts according to the scientific literature. Three different propositions will be
presented, namely, treating these constructs as synonyms, as distinct from each
other or as complimentary.

Rapid change, complexity, and social divisiveness mark the world today. How will we survive
tomorrow? Will we be able to sustain the human values that we cherish - kindness, courage,
empathy? What is the role of schools in this moment?

“Learning and innovation skills increasingly are being recognized as those that separate
students who are prepared for a more and more complex life and work environments in the
21st century, and those who are not. A focus on creativity, critical thinking,
communication and collaboration is essential to prepare students for the future.”
Creative thinking, creative habits of mind, creative expressions, creative problem solving,
creative collaborations and relationships – all can be acquired, practiced, refined, learned. In
successful schools of today and tomorrow, the goal of a vibrant education in the arts is to
prepare students for all kinds of work, life experiences, and social challenges, not “simply”
for a career in an arts-related area. The creative mind is one that is prepared for the future,
in all its challenging dimensions.

An egalitarian society can lead a resurgent nation if it

is focussed on social reform, economic growth of the
downtrodden and protection of cultural diversity. This
is truly possible, only when every child in the country
is educated and eventually finds a meaningful job
leading the country to an unparalleled self-belief

Creativity involves at least three conditions:

1) Production of a novel idea or a response, (2) this idea
must solve a problem or accomplish some goal and (3) the
original insights must be sustained and developed to the
full.
