Department of Education’s Mission, Vision and Core Values Statement

Vision
We dream of Filipinos who passionately love their country and whose values and
competencies enable them to realize their full potential and contribute
meaningfully to building the nation.
As a learner-centered public institution, the Department of Education
Continuously improves itself to better serve its stakeholders.

Mission
To protect and promote the right of every Filipino to quality, equitable, culture-
based, and complete basic education where:
 Students learn in a child-friendly, gender-sensitive, safe, and motivating
environment.
 Teachers facilitate learning and constantly nurture every learner.
 Administrators and staff, as stewards of the institution, ensure an enabling
and supportive environment for effective learning to happen.
 Family, community, and other stakeholders are actively engaged and
share responsibility for developing lifelong-learners.

School Current Situation

The school Improvement Plan of Lucbuban Elementary School, Lucbuban,


Salcedo, Ilocos Sur is guided by the Dep. Ed. Vision Mission. It’s
development and implementation is in accordance with the Governance
of the Basic Education Act of 2001 (RA 9155).

1. Improve pupils’ performance in all the learning areas with close


adherence to the competencies as provided in the K to 12
Curriculum and with the use of NCBTS as guide in the
accomplishment of desired outcomes. The integration of values in
our daily teaching should not be parroted instead, we should
continue to inculcate the values of humanism, nationalism, respect,
reverence, generosity, humility and other core values that would
develop/ shape a child into becoming responsible and ideal citizen
of the country.

2. Support, implement and integrate the goals, thrust, programs,


orders and policies of the Department of Education that can be
promote effective teaching and learning process. It promotes and
develop desirable values among all pupils. Encourages teachers to
grow professionally by enrolling graduate studies and attending
related seminars, workshops and trainings. Acquires instructional
materials, equipment, and apparatus that would make better in the
teaching learning process.

3. Parents and other stakeholders shall be treated with importance


whenever and wherever we come across with them especially if
they come to school. Teachers shall be fully trained in all learning
areas need to be conducted. Teaching assistance should have been
acquired by teachers to bolster their technical expertise in the
delivery basic education.

The Formulation of SIP caters to the total development and improvement


of the school through shared responsibilities of the school and the
community it serves. It is along this line that the school tapped all the
stakeholders for a collaborative endeavor to attain the standards set by
the School Planning among and between the pupils, teachers, parents,
school head and the community.

Regular monitoring is needed in every area. Every project/activities identified to address the area prioritize should be
monitored depending upon the project. Project teams and members should also list down the changes or effect of every
project including suggestions for improvement or using another strategy. In evaluating a project, the project team should be
present. Conference should be done after the evaluation. The indicator that needs focus is the output of the project being
implemented. Through rigid process of evaluation, we can measure its effectiveness and efficiency.
