The place I visited
Last year, I visited Ha Noi in autumn, around November with my family. I
usually traveled with my family so this time was no different. Ha Noi, located
in the North, is the capital of Viet Nam.
The weather in Ha Noi during autumn was very pleasant. The air was cool
with light winds, making it perfect for outdoor activities. During this season,
the scenery of Ha Noi is extremely beautiful with flowers blooming
everywhere. You can see flowers on the street, even on florist’s bicycle which
makes Ha Noi uniquely beautiful.
Another plus point for Ha Noi is its cuisine. The city boats a rich culinary
tradition with delicious street food. I particularly enjoyed “cha ca la vong”, a
dish made with fresh fish, shrimp, galangal and served with herbs and
vegetables. Most of dishes suited me well because I’m originally from the
North and familiar with the flavors.
In the evening, we walked around Hoan Kiem lake, enjoying the serene
atmosphere and the vibrant nighlife. We ended our day by savoring the
famous Trang Tien ice cream, which was a delighful treat
Ha Noi left me with many memorabale and pleasant inpressions. The
combination of its beautiful scenery, delicious food, and warm atmosphere
made it a place I will always cherish.
2. The place I want to visit in the future
The place I want to visit in the future is Ha Long Bay. It is in the North of Viet
Nam, close to Ha Noi, the capital. Obviously, I will go to Ha Long Bay with my
family, maybe in the summer because my children will be on their regular
summer vacation. My family loves exploring new places together
On the internet, I saw that Ha Long Bay has many extremely beautiful scenes
such as islands, mountains and horizons. Additionally, there’s nice weather,
clear water and fresh seafood. My children will be swimming in the fresh
water excited and immersed
Finally, experiencing staying on a cruise ship is worth trying. Imagine staying
there, having dinner under the sky, sleeping onboard and waking up with the
feeling of floating on the sea. That sounds interesting.
3. Describle a people who you admired
I would like to describe my sister-in-law. She is my brother’s wife and is
approximately two years younger than I am. She has fair skin and big,
beautiful eyes. She works as the chief accountant for a travel company and
is an excellent cook. In her free time, she usually makes some new dishes for
her family.
Last year, I joined her in the kitchen. She taught me how to make moon
cakes. With her experience, she helped me make delicious and beautiful
moon cakes. I found it fascinating to work with her because she was
extremely clever. I admire her cooking skills.
Additionally, when my brother was unwell, she had to work and take care of
him and their grandchildren. I love her because she is kind and patient. I
absolutely don’t know what I would have done without her while I was far
from my brother’s family. I always thank her for these things.
4. Describle a memorable moment in your life
In the past, when I lived with my parents in HCM city, I had many childhood
memories with my family. Most of them were memorable moments when we
prepared for the new school year.
I recall being in grade three at primary school while my brother was in grade
eight at secondary school. This was the time we checked if we had enough
books, notebooks, bags, pens, and other supplies. After that, we covered our
books and notebooks with old, large calendars, cutting them to fit the size of
the books or notebooks. Nowadays, we have many types of covers with
various colors and plastic material that help keep books from getting
wrinkled, which is extremely convenient. However, back then, this was the
best we had. We finished by labeling the notebooks and books. Additionally,
while doing these tasks, we had the opportunity to sit together and talk. Just
that simple act made me happy and left me with unforgettable memories.
5. What are some negative effects of social media on people
In my opinion, social media has a negative influence on people, especially
those under twenty. Nowadays, we can access the internet anywhere, and
there are many platforms to participate in. Most of them, like Facebook and
TikTok, immerse the youth and make them addicted. Young people are
curious and eager to explore, but at this age, they don’t fully understand the
difference between good and bad, so they are easily drawn into negative
things. When they are online for long periods, their behavior worsens. For
example, when my children are surfing the web and I ask them to stop, they
become angry, even though they are usually well-behaved. They become
gloomy, argue, and even raise their voices. I have noticed that they imitate
bad behaviors seen on TikTok, such as school violence and smoking
Certainly, we don’t negate the benefits of a globalized world brought by
media, but social media present many challenges. Instead of going online to
find study materials, they spend too much time surfing social networking
sites. Additionally, social media often promote negative and addictive trends,
making it challenging for parents to guide their children in recognizing the
potential dangers online. Therefore, it is crucial for parents to regularly
monitor their children’s online activities and set limits on their screen time
