considering Ourief to be part of your special day.
Here at Ourief we will go out of our way to give you an intimate
country wedding which you will treasure forever. Our unique
country farm venue is situated in the Vredefort Dome district.
Become enthralled by the rolling landscapes and awe-inspiring
sunsets together with the majestic stars that dance in the night sky.
Escape the nearby towns and enjoy all that Ourief has to offer.
Exclusivity
Here at Ourief we only have one
wedding per weekend to ensure the
best experience and service for our
couples.
Built around traditional VALUES, family
and friendship, we offer peace and
tranquility for you and your loved ones to
celebrate your holy union.
Setting up of your special day starts on
Friday already. You and your suppliers
will have exclusive use of the venue from
11 to 15:00 to ensure you have a smooth
Saterday with nothing to worry about.
It all starts

Your journey with us starts at
10am in our stunning bridal suite.
Here you can relax and be
pampered with enough space for
all your bridesmaids. Optional
extras such as lunch platters, a
stocked mini bar and coffee pot
brewing in the kitchen will make
everyone feel right at home while
you soak in every special moment.
Our charming chapel is filled with
light and brings the outside in with
its beautiful wooden shutters and
atmosphere.

When the camera

After the ceremony and family pictures are taken the couple
and the photographer is personally taken to various photo
spots on the farm.
The Harvest table,
lawn games & cash bar.
After the ceremony the guests are kept busy by indulging
in the sumptuous harvest table and amusing each other
with the variety of lawn games.

Friday set-up
Your wedding should run smoothly
and stress free! Therefore we open
the venue on Friday for you to
come finalize your decor and make
sure everything is perfect.
All cutlery and crockery included.

Catering
From start to finish we pride ourselves in delivering
the best quality and experience. Please go through
our wide variety of menus which will be attached.
Please note that no external catering is allowed.

We at Ourief cater for small intimate weddings. We have a maximum capacity of 100 adult guests in main venue.

Use of venue until midnight. Gate is locked at midnight, overtime fee can be arranged @R2000 per hour.
Accommodation
Newly build complex on premises able to accommodate 47 guests staying over.

We only do one wedding per weekend to ensure exclusivity. Set up of décor Friday from
11:00 – 15:00
Outside dance floor
The use of our stunning dance floor with ambient lighting.
Cash Bar
Fully licensed cash bar with a wide selection of drinks. No drinks are allowed to be brought onto the premises, corkage can be
arranged for wine and champagne @R70 per 750ml bottle wine or champagne.
Use of Large Boma area and three boma fire pits at dance floor
Here guests can gather and enjoy the rest of the evening when not on the dance floor.
Three additional fire pits at the dance floor and bar area.

How to reserve a date?
A booking agreement will be sent upon request. A non-refundable booking fee of R9000 is required to secure your booking. This
will then be deducted from the final payment.
Date will be available to all until proof of payment
