MASS INTRODUCTION:- GOLDEN JIBILEE

Grace and peace of Jesus Christ. A pleasant morning to all.
Heaven and earth are in jubilation today for the precious life of our beloved father
Scaria Nedumattathil SDB whom God values so much. On this dawn, we are
especially blessed with the presence of dear Fr Scaria. On this your golden jubilee
day we the Arunodaya family with one accord sing the melodies of your jubilee. The
Lord of all goodness, the high priest ordained you and made you the treasured
possession of his heart. Your life of sacrifice and zeal for the Lord is always
appreciable. Ignoring your health, comforts and pleasures you ventured into the life
of poor people to give Jesus to them. Nothing in this world could take away your
enthusiasm and vigor. On this day we thank you dear father for your guidance,
directions, help, support and encouragement in the growth of our province.
A true missionary is disturbed amidst all the comforts. This is true in the life of Rev.
Fr Scaria Nedummattam SDB the uncle of Sr Viji and Sr Joicy. Dear Father, we wish
you all the blessings of your golden jubilee. We are indeed blessed and privileged to
have you with us today. You are a true missionary whom God has chosen to give the
light of Christ to the people of the Midinapur mission. You showed the love of the
Triune God to the people who even had not heard of Christ and saved many souls
baptizing them and making them Christ’s own. Your care for the poor, marginalized,
the abandoned and your service for the prisoners in the Beherampoor jail being the
in charge of their food is laudable. The zeal to be with the people and be like the
people is shown in your love for the Santali language. We the Arunodians owe much
to you for the mission at Talkhola and Dobasole. Though you have hit the golden
year of your priestly life you are young at heart and a vibrant visionary and
missionary. On this day we implore God’s mighty outpouring of blessings upon you
and your mission. May all the people whom you encounter savour the sweetness of
God’s love through you.
On this auspicious day, we wish that may the good Lord grant you the health of body
and strength of mind and enthusiasm of spirit. May all your dear and near ones be
blessed by the very life of your consecration. May the Holy Eucharist you offered in
these fifty years be a channel of grace to your life. May you continue to reflect God
and radiate his love to the world. May even the deepest desires of your hearts find
favor in the sight of God.
Along with this bread and vine which is to be transubstantiated into the body and
blood of Jesus Christ we offer this world in need of the mercy and grace of God. Once
again offering to God our dear golden jubilarian and all our personal and
communitarian intentions lets rise and partake in this holy sacrifice of grace.
