1GD-FTV BATTERY / CHARGING GENERATOR(for 90A Type) REMOVAL
PROCEDURE
1. PRECAUTION
NOTICE:
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the
battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice
before proceeding with work.

2.DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

3.REMOVE BATTERY CLAMP SUB-ASSEMBLY 74404B
a.
Loosen the 2 nuts.
b. Remove the 2 battery clamp bolts and battery clamp sub-assembly.
4.REMOVE BATTERY 28800
5.REMOVE BATTERY TRAY 74431
6.REMOVE NO. 4 AIR HOSE 17344E

a.
Disconnect the intake air temperature sensor connector.
b. Disconnect the generator connector and detach the clamp.
c. Remove the terminal cap.
d. Remove the nut and disconnect the wire harness from terminal B.
e.
Detach the 3 clamps and disconnect the wire harness.
f.
Remove the 2 bolts and generator assembly.

Remove the 2 bolts and 2 generator brackets.
