Exercise 7:

Prompt: Think of four more ways that technology will affect how we live and work
in the next 20 years.
Here are some possible answers:
1. Robots will be cleaning our homes. (This one is already provided.)
2. Most people will work from home.
3. We will have self-driving cars.
4. Virtual reality will be a common part of our daily lives.
5. Artificial intelligence will be used to make many important decisions.
You can replace these suggestions with your own ideas.
Exercise 8:

Prompt: Write two paragraphs about one of these topics or a topic of your choice.
In the first paragraph, describe how one of these will be in the second paragraph,
describe how you think the future will be.
Here's an example using the topic of "health":
In the past, healthcare was often limited to basic treatments and surgeries. People
relied heavily on traditional medicines and remedies. Diseases like smallpox and
polio were common and deadly. Advances in medical research and technology
have significantly improved healthcare. For example, the development of vaccines
has eradicated many diseases, and antibiotics have revolutionized the treatment of
infections.
In the future, I believe that technology will continue to transform healthcare. We
can expect to see personalized medicine, where treatments are tailored to an
individual's genetic makeup. Artificial intelligence will be used to diagnose diseases
more accurately and quickly. Additionally, wearable devices will monitor our health
in real-time, allowing us to prevent illnesses before they become serious.
You can choose a different topic and follow a similar structure:
 Music: In the past, music was primarily consumed through physical formats
like vinyl records and cassette tapes. Today, digital music streaming
services allow us to access millions of songs instantly. In the future, I believe
that music will become even more immersive, with virtual reality experiences
allowing us to attend concerts from the comfort of our homes.
 Space exploration: In the past, space exploration was limited to
government-funded programs. Today, private companies are playing a major
role in space exploration. In the future, I believe that space tourism will
become a reality, and humans will establish permanent settlements on other
planets.
