IT OFFICER

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Installation, commissioning and Operations of Enterprise-wide IT
applications like End point operations (PCs, Laptops, Printers, Scanners,
UPS etc.), Office Portal / applications availability and Emails/ collaboration
tools availability for the end users.
2. Installation, commissioning and Operations of Data networks including
Switches, routers, firewalls, access Points and Wireless Bridges
3. Installation, commissioning and Operations of IP telephony system
4. Installation, commissioning and Operations of Attendance, RFID and
Biometric Systems
5. Installation, commissioning and Operations of CCTV security Cameras.
6. Liaison with ISPs and Telecom / VSAT Operators on provisioning of
Internet/ voice bandwidth for Backhaul
7. Landline, wireless connectivity with ISP / telecom / VSAT Operators
8. Provisioning and Operations of Video conferencing through dedicated
equipment / Collaboration tools.
9. Connectivity of OT SCADA / OT sensors with dedicated back end
software / Servers
10. Managing and maintaining Cable TV System as per PEMRA regulations in
Office, Colony and lease area.
11. Conduct requirement analysis for any up-gradation, patch management,
enhancement of Help Desk / IT Asset Management.

12. IT Cell inventory management, budgeting (Capital/Revenue), initiating
requisitions, processing capitalization & Surplus documents of all
equipment and projects at the Field Office.
13. End-user support including installation, troubleshooting and licensing of
operating systems such as Windows, Office management software such as
MS Office, SAP Modules (PM,RTB,MM), email, Internet & business Centre
printing services.
14. Administer and maintain Share Point Data (for all departments) in
consonance with the Company’s information security (ISMS) polices
implemented at Field Office and also maintains Portal Site on main Official
Portal.
15. IT cell inventory management, budgeting, initiating requisitions and
processing capitalization documents of all equipment and projects at the
Field Office. Ensure to keep minimum level of spares, consumables and
other material for maintenance of IT equipment.
16. Work towards creating and sustaining a culture that supports
implementation of IMS policy, development and completion of objectives,
and all associated arrangements put in place for the implementation of the
Integrated Management System.
17. Ensure implementation of HSE requirements in your area of responsibility.
Participate in HSE induction, HSE awareness sessions and emergency
drills, wear adequate personal protective equipment (PPE) as per the job
requirement and ensure that others also wear them as per requirement.
Carry out assigned tasks and duties in a safe manner, in accordance with
instructions, and to comply with HSE rules/procedures, regulations and
codes of practice.
18. Report all HSE non-compliance (Unsafe acts / unsafe conditions) and follow
the incident reporting and investigation procedure.
19. Assisting Incharge IT with day to day work and perform any other task
assigned by Incharge IT.
Education, Prior Work Experience and Specialized Skills and Knowledge:
The IT Officer (position) should be:-

1. MIT / MCS or MBA (IT/ MIS) or Electrical / Telecom/ Computer Engineering
or relevant field
