1. Within 10 days from the date of receipt of the application for a search
of 15 years (manually).

RIGHT TO INFORMATION ACT 2005 sec. 4(b)(xi)
The budget allocated to each of its agency, indicating the particulars of all
plans, proposed expenditures and reports on disbursements made:-
1. ECIL and CMS Companies have been awarded the contract for
providing hardware, personal and infrastructure for the registration and
scanning of documents. CMS has been awarded the districts of Bangalore
Urban, Bangalore Rural, Tumkur, Belgaum where they collect Rs.30/- per
page scanned. Out of which Rs.16/- is paid to the Company and the rest
appropriated to Government. Similarly ECIL has been awarded remaining
districts of the State, where the Company collects Rs.30/- per page scanned
of which Rs.25/- is paid to the Company and the rest appropriated to the
Government. Government has not invested any funds for registrationand
scanning of documents which is on a BOT basis for a period of 5years
ending September 2008.
