• Steroids were first developed in the
1930s. It was used to assist muscle
growth and enhance athletic
performance. The substance has
mainly been used by bodybuilders
and athletes ever since the 1950s to
improve performances and
appearance.

ONE MAY BECOME ADDICTED FOR 2 ANOTHER REASON WHY IS BECAUSE
MAIN REASONS. ONE OF MANY OF A DISORDER THE PERSON MIGHT
REASONS IS BECAUSE PEOPLE FEEL CONTAIN. THE NEED TO SEEK
GOOD AFTER TAKING STEROIDS STEROIDS JUST TO LOOK BETTER DUE
BECAUSE IT MAKES THEM FEEL MORE TO ITS FAST EFFECTS IN A SHORT
BETTER AND HELP THEM "IMPROVE" AMOUNT OF TIME CAN CAUSE AN
THEIR PHYSICAL. ADDICTION.

• Steroids can also have an
impact on a person's
mood and a disorder with
many consequences
• Steroids can also cause
injuries, balding, stretch
marks, etc
Detrimental
Effects
• Steroids can have many
detrimental effects in your body
system such as heart attacks,
strokes, kidney failure, health
problems, damage, tumors,
diseases, disorder, etc
Short/long term effects
• Steroids have short and long term effects on a
human being.
• Some of these short terms effects include acne,
weight gain, high blood pressure, depression,
sleeplessness, infection, heart problems, etc.
• Some long term effects include liver disease,
testicle damage, aggression, scarring, kindey &
heart failure, etc.
Addiction
• Steroids are very easily to get addicted
since they make someone feel very
energetic and strong. It's heavily easily to
crave the drug as the addiction increases.
Despite the side effects of the drug, a
person would mostly likely keep
consuming it because of its outcome.
Treatments
• Many different kinds of
treatments of addiction of
steroids include behavioral
therapy, supervised detox,
seeking medical professors,
medication, counseling, rehab,
etc.
