METHODOLOGY
This chapter discusses the research design, respondents and location of the
study, sampling procedure and research instrument.
Research Design
This study will use descriptive research design systematically gather and analyze
data from secondary education students regarding their perceptions and experiences
with AI tools. By using surveys or questionnaires, you can identify patterns and
relationships that inform your understanding of how AI affects academic engagement.
Respondents of the Study
The respondents of this study will be selected secondary education students of
Kabacan Sandigan Colleges, Inc.
Location of the Study
This study will be conducted at Kabacan Sandigan Colleges, Inc. Mercado
Street, Kabacan North Cotabato.
Sampling Procedure
The researcher will use simple random sampling procedure in Kabacan
Sandigan Colleges, Inc. and purposive sampling was used in the school.
Research Instrument

data on the advantages and disadvantages of artificial intelligence sites and their impact
on academic engagement among secondary education students. The questionnaire will
include statements rated on a four-point Likert scale to quantify respondents'
perceptions and experiences. This instrument will facilitate the collection of both
quantitative data for statistical analysis and qualitative insights through open-ended
comments.
Data Gathering Procedure
The researcher will ask permission from the dean of the identified Kabacan
Sandigan Colleges, Inc. to conduct the study. Upon approval the respondents will
administer the survey. They will be asked to answer the survey questionnaire to
determine the advantage and disadvantage of artificial intelligence sties on academic
engagement of the students and it will return to the researcher to discussed, analyzed
and interpreted the data.
Statistical Analysis
This study will use descriptive statistics weighted mean, frequency counts and
percentages for data analysis.
