Selling Nutrition and Body Building Supplements, Slimming / Weight Loss Products, Day to Day
Sales online and at a Large Scale (Wholesale), my job role was dealing with clients and suppliers a
day to day running of the store. I got optioned as a manager trusted by my employer. I was also
running new schemes and organising special events at local gyms to expand the business.

 Landrover/Jaguar, Solihull March 2013- February 2014

My job role was production line manufacture, while working within Landrover I learnt many skills
which included working fast and keeping up time records of productions, this gave me the ability to
working under pressure and working in a team. I learnt many different jobs while working for the
company which helped me progress around the factory

 KFC, Erdington, Birmingham February 2007- March 2013

In this job I was a senior customer sales assistant. This allowed me to develop excellent customer
skills as well as providing me with experience working in a busy environment. This role has helped
with my communication and negotiation skills, duties in this job include all the basic such as health
and safety, cash handling, stock control, and customer service

 Phillips Debt Collection Service, west Midlands January 2010- July 2010

This was a temporary job which involved door to door debt advisor service, other duties involved
recovering payments, and client support. I use my questioning skills to extract information from
customers which I then analyse in order to decide the best way forward for them. This includes,
identifying and gaining a full insight into a customer’s situation using my tactile probing skills, which
can then allow me to build a rapport and dialogue with the customer and look at a means of moving
forward. I find solutions to customer’s problems in a professional and efficient manner and negotiate
repayment of arrears on customers’ accounts. Such experiences have improved my problem-solving and
diplomatic abilities. I ensure that I deliver a quality experience on every call for each customer by taking
ownership and implementing the correct resolution on that first point of contact. I am driven and set
myself personal targets to work on through the month as well the targets set by my department and
manager. I was one of the highest achieving performers in my department and I ensure I meet, if not
exceed, the targets set. I often run incentives within my team to motivate my colleagues and help boost
our statistics

 M.Latif & Sons, Digbeth October 2006- January 2007

I held the position of a senior customer service assistant, which required me to be responsible for the shop
floor, which furthered my leadership and organisational skills. Duties included; being responsible for
answering the main telephone line and answering customer queries, ensuring that the shop floor was clean at
all times, placing and taking customer orders on tills, dealing with large amounts of cash, insuring customers
comply with Health and Safety and Health Hygiene legislation at all times, assisting with the weekly cashing
of money. This post helped improve my communication skills, as I regularly interacted with the general
public and learnt to work efficiently as part of a team. This post demonstrated that I was a valued, reliable
and trusted member of staff.
 Pound land, Erdington March 2003- June 2006

This was a part-time job, while I was still a student, which demonstrated my drive and hard-work. I managed
to excel in my studies aswell as maintain a job. Duties included, dealing with the public on a day to day
basis, ensuring high standards of customer care, courtesy and service, training and assisting newly employed
staff, ordering new stock/stock takes, taking enquiries over the telephone, stocking shelves, dealing with
cash.

Interests and skills

ICT Skills – I have the ability to create databases and spreadsheets to a high standard as I have carried
this out in my A level ICT. I am also familiar with using Sage accounts as the first year of my degree
consisted of a Sage module. Meeting requirements for modules at university has helped me to develop
strong analytical and diagnostic skills.
Communication and Teamwork Skills – Vast experience in communicating at all levels as my previous
job roles required me to communicate with customers, colleagues and managers via telephone, email
and face to face. I communicate in a confident and polite manner. I am an active team member at work
and enjoy working with colleagues, especially when holding meetings and focus groups. Aspects of my
degree consisted of group work, which meant I was able to use my social and leadership skills to
ensure I produced a high standard of work.
I have developed a wide range of personal skills throughout my education and employment. I am a highly
motivated, adaptable, enthusiastic and innovative individual who can work well under pressure. I use my
initiative to enable myself to learn very quickly and adapt to new environments. I have great drive and
commitment. My work history has given me a pedestal to aim higher in order to further my career in life, I
am also versatile, analytical and hard working. Additionally, I am an excellent team player and possess
desirable communication skills. I pride myself on being reliable, punctual and professional in my approach.
