Lesson 1: Speaking
TRADITIONS AROUND THE WORLD
I. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
1. Knowledge:
- For vocabulary, Ss will be able to learn words and phrases
related to traditions, culture in the UK and Russia.
- For grammar, to review the use of comparative and
superalative adjectives in speaking.
2. Skills:
 Develop speaking skill:
+ Practise sharing and giving responses to new information.
+ Use the information they have known to discuss the topic about
the Vietnamese culture.
+ Give mini-talk about some cultural aspects of Viet Nam.
3. Attitude:
- Understand the customs and traditions in the UK and Russia, and can talk
about them.
- Know more about some cultural aspects of Viet Nam.
