   1. Adolescent Growth Spurt- last 2-3 years mostly between 8-12 y/o
     a. girls precede boys in spurt
     b. Some take longer to get than others
   2. May have growth of hands and feet first but don’t get a lack of
   coordination except in about 15% of teenagers
 B. Sexual Development
   1. Puberty- refers to the spec. devel. Of changes that lead to the ability
   to reproduce (great def.)
     a. Primary Sex Characteristics- directly involved in reproduction
     b. Secondary Sex Characteristics- not directly involved
      E.g. voice drop, round of hips and breast
