Khaprabatti Govt. School. This experience has been an instrumental
learning and broadening our perspectives on Education and community

INTRODUCTION
Our community activity in Khaprabatti school on Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is to promote
cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation in the school among the children. In Khaprabatti school,
this initiative aims to create a clean and healthy environment for students and the
surrounding communities. The programme encourages everyone to work together to keep

the school premises clean and green, instilling a sense of responsibility and pride in
maintaining a hygienic environment. As part of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, in Khaprabatti
school this initiative not only focuses on the physical cleanliness of the school but also
educates students on sustainable practices and the importance of maintaining a clean
school. By embracing the values of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Khaprabatti school is working
towards a cleaner, healthier and more environmentally conscious future for all students.
ABOUT KHAPRABATTI SCHOOL
Government Primary School, Khaprabatti, located in the Raipur Kapa area, is a foundational
educational institution dedicated to providing quality primary education to children in the
community. The school focuses on developing essential skills and knowledge in young

learners, aiming to foster a strong educational base. Known for its supportive staff and
inclusive environment, the school actively encourages students to participate in academic
and extracurricular activities that promote overall growth.
The school also places emphasis on values like cleanliness, discipline, and social
responsibility, regularly participating in community initiatives such as the Swachh Bharat
Abhiyan. Through these efforts, Government Primary School, Khaprabatti, plays a key role in
shaping responsible, well-rounded individuals committed to personal and community
development.
Khaprabatti School is a well-known institution in our community, renowned for its
commitment to education and character development. The school has always encouraged
its students to take part in community service and awareness programs, making it an ideal
partner for our Swachh Bharat Abhiyan activities.
Khaprabatti school is having the strength of 40 students including all the classes. The school
students are provided with mid-day meal and all the necessary help for their studies.
Children are very happy and talented in very many ways.
IMPORTANCE
The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is a nationwide campaign aimed at promoting cleanliness,
hygiene, and environmental awareness across India. The importance of this mission cannot

be overstated, as it addresses not only sanitation but also the health and well-being of
communities, particularly in rural and semi-urban areas like Khaprabatti.
Here’s how it impacts school environments and why it’s essential:
1. Promotes Hygiene and Health:
Cleanliness in schools reduces the risk of illnesses like infections, diarrhoea, and respiratory
problems, which are common in unsanitary conditions. By encouraging students to keep
their surroundings clean, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan directly contributes to a healthier school
environment and reduces absenteeism.
2. Develops Good Habits Early:
When cleanliness practices are taught and encouraged in schools, students learn the value
of hygiene from a young age. Habits formed during childhood tend to last a lifetime, making
them responsible and aware citizens who will carry forward the values of cleanliness into
adulthood.
3. Creates Awareness and Responsibility:
Swachh Bharat Abhiyan activities help students understand their role in maintaining a clean
environment. They become more conscious of littering, waste management, and conserving

Through initiatives like tree plantation, waste segregation, and plastic-free campaigns,

A clean school is more welcoming and comfortable, creating a positive learning
environment. Clean classrooms, washrooms, and playgrounds allow students to focus on

performance and well-being.

Cleanliness is linked to values like discipline, respect, and teamwork. When students work
together in cleanliness drives or rallies, they learn cooperation, leadership, and respect for

7. Supports National Mission and Patriotism:
By participating in the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, students contribute to a national movement
that aims for a cleaner and healthier India. This involvement builds a sense of patriotism
and pride in their country, motivating them to contribute positively to society.
PURPOSE

The Purpose of visiting Khaprabatti school as part of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan initiative was Multi -
faceted focusing on fostering a culture of cleanliness, awareness and responsibility among young
students. Our visit aimed to raise awareness about the importance of cleanliness and sustainability
among students. By involving the younger generation in these activities, we hope to instil a lasting
sense of responsibility toward maintaining a clean and healthy environment.
To educate students on the importance of cleanliness in their daily lives and its role in
preventing diseases.
The visit aimed to demonstrate practical steps for maintaining hygiene, both personally and
in their surroundings
We aimed to instil good habits that promote sustainable cleanliness.
Early exposure to such habits can have a long-lasting impact on students, encouraging them
to be responsible citizens.
OPENING PRAYER

The program commenced with a prayer invoking the blessings of Presence of God . We felt the
calm and peaceful atmosphere at the early hours of the day. We prayed together joining our hearts
and minds for a cleaner, healthier India. This prayer highlighted the values of unity, responsibility,
and respect for our surroundings, setting a thoughtful and dedicated tone for the day’s activities.

sense of unity, focus, and respect, setting a positive tone for the activities to come. It allows
participants to take a moment to center themselves, reflect on their intentions, and connect

Nukad Natak (Street Play)

A Nukad Natak was performed by us to highlight the significance of cleanliness and hygiene.
This street play presented everyday scenarios related to cleanliness and demonstrated how
small actions by individuals can contribute to a larger impact. It was well-received and
succeeded in making the message of Swachh Bharat relatable and memorable .
Event Report: Nukad Natak is a powerful medium of social awareness and entertainment.
Its raw and impactful style enables performers to address social issues in a way that
resonates with people of all backgrounds. It aimed to educate, inform, and inspire the
audience to take action or change their perspective on this issue. The performers used
exaggerated expressions, body language, and gestures to convey emotions clearly and
powerfully.

CULTURAL PROGRAM
Following the nuked Natak play, a cultural program was organized. Students showcased dances;
songs related to the Swachh Bharat theme. There was an active dance presented by one of our
friends based on, use of the dust bin and keeping neat and tidy the premises by which we can
prevent diseases. This program helped reinforce the message of cleanliness through engaging
performances, making the event enjoyable for everyone involved. This was an great opportunity to
know the capacity of children and their feedback.

organized by our group members and students of Khaprabatti school.

PRESENTING THE DUSTBIN
As a token of our commitment to cleanliness, dustbins were presented to the school. These
dustbins were placed at key locations around the school premises to encourage students to
dispose of waste responsibly. We encouraged students to throw the waste in dustbins and asked
them to keep neat and tidy the surroundings by utilizing the dustbins in school. We also explained
students to maintain the cleanliness at home and surroundings.

waste management, and environmental responsibility within the community. This report
highlights the purpose, distribution, and impact of presenting dustbins at Khaprabatti.The
primary objective of providing dustbins is to encourage proper waste disposal practices

initiative also aims to educate people on the importance of waste segregation by
introducing separate bins for different types of waste.

PLANTATION OF NEEM AND MANGO TREES
To contribute to environmental sustainability, Neem and Mango trees were planted on the school
grounds. This activity not only beautified the school surroundings but also served as a reminder of
the benefits of trees in combating pollution and providing fresh air. Neem and Mango trees are
known for their ability to absorb significant amounts of carbon dioxide and release oxygen,
improving air quality around them. Neem and Mango trees offer opportunities to educate students
about native species, environmental sustainability, and the health benefits of these plants,
reinforcing ecological awareness. By choosing and planting these trees, the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan
initiative in schools supports not just cleanliness but also environmental health and ecological
education.
EVENT REPORT: The primary objective of planting neem and mango trees was to enhance the
green cover, promote biodiversity, and contribute to a cleaner, healthier environment.Neem and
mango trees were specifically chosen for their ecological benefits, such as air purification, shade,
and fruit production, which can support both the environment and the community.

AWARENESS RALLY ON SWACHH BHARAT ABHIYAN
An awareness rally was organized with students holding placards and chanting slogans about the
importance of cleanliness. The rally helped spread the message of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan to the
surrounding community and engaged students in actively promoting the mission.

PERSONAL LEARNING
This visit to Khaprabatti School provided an invaluable learning experience for our team. I realized
that engaging young minds in such initiatives can be incredibly impactful, as students bring energy,
curiosity, and a willingness to learn. I also understood the power of collective action in addressing
environmental and cleanliness issues.
It was a pleasant experience for me to enrich my thoughts and ideas about schools and the ability
of students . I learned that through our small acts we can create a large change in the hearts and
minds od young students. The children who were innocently welcomed with their cheerful faces
and love brought lot of joy and happiness.

CONCLUSION
The visit to Khaprabatti School was a fruitful experience for all involved. Through a blend of
education, creativity, and direct action, we successfully instilled the principles of cleanliness and
environmental stewardship in the students. We look forward to seeing the positive changes this
initiative will bring and are committed to supporting similar programs in the future. Our visit to
Govt. Primary School Khaprabatti was an enriching and enlightening Experience which made us feel
the joy of oneness with the children. We are grateful for the opportunity given to us boost
ourselves once again with the responsibility towards the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan as a citizen of
India. I appreciate the efforts of Mrs.Bindhu Singh Takur for her endless efforts to educate the
young students. I salute the patience and great love she has for the students.
