Dear fellow citizens,

Today, I stand before you to emphasize the critical importance of primary education as a fundamental
human right and why it should be accessible to every child.

Education is a basic human right that should be available to all, regardless of their gender, race, social
status, or geographical location. Primary education is the foundation of every child's academic and
personal growth. It helps to equip children with essential skills, knowledge, and values that they need to
succeed in life. The right to primary education is enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights,
which recognizes education as an essential component of human development. Education is crucial for
promoting economic growth, social development, and poverty reduction. Sadly, millions of children
worldwide do not have access to quality primary education. According to the UNESCO Institute for
Statistics, about 258 million children and youth between the ages of 6 and 17 are out of school globally,
and over half of them live in sub-Saharan Africa. This situation is particularly worrisome, as children from
poor families and rural areas are the most affected.

Furthermore, the lack of access to primary education perpetuates a vicious cycle of poverty, illiteracy, and
social exclusion. It limits the opportunities for personal and professional development, and it contributes
to widening economic and social disparities. This problem is particularly acute for girls, who are often
deprived of education due to cultural and social norms. Providing access to quality primary education to
every child is not only a moral obligation but also a wise investment in the future. Investing in education
has a positive impact on economic growth, public health, and social stability. According to the World
Bank, every additional year of schooling increases an individual's income by 10 percent and reduces the
likelihood of poverty by 9 percent.

In conclusion, providing access to quality primary education to every child is not only a human right but
also a moral and economic imperative. Let us invest in our children's future by providing them with the
education they deserve. It is only through education that we can create a better, more just, and
prosperous world for all.

Thank you.
Ladies and gentlemen,

Today, I stand before you to discuss the critical importance of primary education as a fundamental human
right and why it should be accessible to every child.

Education is a basic human right that should be available to all, regardless of their gender, race, social
status, or geographical location. Primary education is the foundation of every child's academic and
personal growth. It helps to equip children with essential skills, knowledge, and values that they need to
succeed in life.

The right to primary education is enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which
recognizes education as an essential component of human development. Education is crucial for
promoting economic growth, social development, and poverty reduction.

However, millions of children worldwide do not have access to quality primary education. According to
the UNESCO Institute for Statistics, about 258 million children and youth between the ages of 6 and 17 are
out of school globally, and over half of them live in sub-Saharan Africa. This situation is particularly
worrisome, as children from poor families and rural areas are the most affected.

Furthermore, the lack of access to primary education perpetuates a vicious cycle of poverty, illiteracy, and
social exclusion. It limits the opportunities for personal and professional development and contributes to
widening economic and social disparities. This problem is particularly acute for girls, who are often
deprived of education due to cultural and social norms.

Providing access to quality primary education to every child is not only a moral obligation but also a wise
investment in the future. Investing in education has a positive impact on economic growth, public health,
and social stability. According to the World Bank, every additional year of schooling increases an
individual's income by 10 percent and reduces the likelihood of poverty by 9 percent.

As a society, we must work together to ensure that every child has access to quality primary education.
This can be achieved by increasing funding for education, improving teacher training and working
conditions, and promoting policies that support access to education for all.

We must also address the root causes of education inequality, such as poverty and discrimination, and
work towards creating a more inclusive society where every child has an equal opportunity to learn and
thrive.

In conclusion, providing access to quality primary education to every child is not only a human right but
also a moral and economic imperative. Let us invest in our children's future by providing them with the
education they deserve. It is only through education that we can create a better, more just, and
prosperous world for all.

Thank you.
