Anna: Another day another mystery to solve.
Agnes: What happened Anna?
Anna: Mr. Chinmay is dead and they say it is a murder
Agnes: Well it is our duty to find out who is the murderer is after all.
(So, Detective Anna and Agnes got into the car and drove to the mansion.
They reached the mansion and was warmly welcomed by the butler. Both of
them stood near the fireplace and started interrogating the people.)
Agnes: Who saw the body first?
Amy: (raising her hand) I saw the body first.
Agnes: Come inside the room Mrs. Amy and rest of you please stand outside.
Anna: Mrs. Amy, tell me what happened.
Amy: (Takes a deep breath) Yesterday I came down stairs to drink some
water and I saw my dad lying on floor. So, I screamed and the butler came
and checked if dad is alive but he was dead.
Agnes: Did he go anywhere else in the morning
Amy: Yes, he went for is morning walk.
Agnes: Ok Mrs. Amy, you may leave.
Agnes: What next Anna?
Anna: Call in the next person.
(Agnes called in James to the room.)
Anna: Ok Mr. James your Mr. Chinmay’s best friend. Am I right?
James: (Getting nervous) uh, uh yes, we are best friends.
Agnes: (noticed his nervousness) When is the last time you saw Mr.
Chinmay?
James: I saw him the day before yesterday during a small birthday party.
Anna: And what time did you meet him at the party.
James: It was probably 7:00 pm when I met him.
Anna: You usually go for a morning walk with Mr. Chinmay. We got an
information that you did accompany him for the morning walk. Why?
James: (nervously replied) I didn’t feel good this morning.
Agnes: Ok, you may leave.
(Mr. James left the room and Agnes started speaking to Anna)
Agnes: Did you notice Mr. James getting nervous when we were interrogating
him.
Anna: Yeah, I noticed. Its like he is hiding something.
Agnes: People say that he has a deep secret.
Anna: We can find it out later. For now, call the next person.
Agnes: Alright, if you say so.
(Mr. Savio knocks the door and enters.)
Anna: So, your Mr. Chinmay’s butler.
Savio: Yes
Agnes: As his butler you know his morning routine better than anyone else.

Savio: Yes
Anna: Could you tell us what his morning routine is.
Savio: Yes. He wakes up at 5:50 am, drinks a cup of water and goes for a
walk at 6:00.
He then comes back at 6:20 And he will have his breakfast with Mr. James.

Agnes: Ok you may leav..
Anna: Wait, did you notice anything different in Mr. Chinmay’s behavior
yesterday.
Savio: Uh yeah actually he looked a bit tensed when he came after his
morning walk.
Agnes: (eagerly asking) Did you ask him why he was tensed.
Savio: Yeah, I did but he wasn’t telling anything.
Anna: What happened then?
Savio: He went to the kitchen and drank some water and I left to my room to
do some of my pending work. Next thing I hear is Mrs. Amy’s scream and
when I went to check what happen, I see Mr. Chinmay lying on the floor.
Anna: Ok, you can leave now.
Agnes: Anna, what if Mr. Chinmay was poisoned.
Anna: That is a fact.
(Amy knocked the door and entered the room)
Agnes: Yes Mrs. Amy, what happened?
Amy: I know who the murderer is, it is Mr. James.
Anna: Why do you think so.
Amy: Because we conducted a birthday party for dad day before yesterday
and that day itself both of them were fighting at my dad’s office about how
Mr. James wants to get a share of dad’s money.
Agnes: Ok Mrs. Amy. Thanks for the information.
(Anna calls Mr. James into the room)
Agnes: We know that you killed Mr. Chinmay for money, so, tell us the truth.
James: (angrily said) Yes, I killed Chinmay. Yesterday I send some guys to kill
him during his morning walk but he managed to escape them so I poisoned
the water which he drank so I can get his money.
Anna: Police arrest this man.
