ACTIVITY PROFILE
I. Title of Activity 3-Day School-Based INSET
II. Rationale Consistent to DepEd Order No. 22, s. 2023 titled: “
Implementing Guidelines on the School Calendar and
Activities for School Year 2023 – 2024”, Enclosure No. 1,
V. General Guidelines, Item No. 22 states that
Professional Development of Teachers and in line with
Division Memo. No. 009, s. 2024 stating the Conduct of
School Mid-Year Performance Review and In-Service
Training Engagement in Achieving Milestones (TEAM).
The 3-day TEAM of Caduha-an National High School
will be conducted in a face-to-face set-up and will strictly
follow IATF protocols and health standards.
The TEAM will engage the 25 SHS teachers, 45 JHS
teachers, and 1 Principal IV a total of 71 participants who
are expected to acquire additional knowledge and ideas
on various teaching strategies to engage learners,
improve teaching-learning process, ignite passion
towards work and profession, and value collaboration
within the school community.
III. Rationale In-Service Training is a professional and personal
and Statement of educational activity for teachers to improve their
Terminal and efficiency, ability, knowledge and motivation in their
Enabling Objectives professional work. The primary purpose of
INSET is to enable teachers to acquire new
understanding and instructional skills.
It also acts as a catalyst for teacher’s effectiveness
by updating teachers’ skills and knowledge which lead to
better job performance in times like this, where
educational landscape is constantly changing.
As stated in DepEd Order No. 35, s. 2016, Training
Engagement is a session conducted by group of teachers
who engage in collaborative learning sessions to solve
shared challenges encountered in school. Such

challenges may include learner diversity and student
inclusion, content and pedagogy, assessment and
reporting, and 21st century skills and ICT integration.
Training Objectives:
At the end of the program, the participants are
expected :
1. To conduct evaluation of school progress attained
in implementing educational programs, projects, and
activities.
2. To review the performance of teachers in order to
address concerns through collaborative effort.
3. To improve the teaching-learning process that will
lead to improve learning among the students in the new
normal;
4. To equip teachers’ knowledge and competence in
developing MELCs-Based lesson exemplars, assessment,
and learning activities; and
5. To enable teachers to assess learners’ reading
levels and craft intervention plan to gradually address
learning gaps and reading deficiency among learners.

V. Professional 1. Re-orient teachers with the guidelines on the
Development implementation of PPST-RPMS and discuss the
Priorities highlighted-indicators in COT in the current school year.
2. Capacitate teachers to develop an understanding and
ability for the creation of individualized IDP based on
personal assessment align to Mid-Year Review and Pre-
Calibration.
3. Upskill teachers knowledge and competence in
crafting MELCs-based lesson, assessment, and activities.
4. Train teachers to craft remediation and intervention
that are data driven and based from the results of
assessment.
