Its not a major, but The Players is certainly the next best thing, and until Tim Clark can take one of the big four, this one will do quite nicely. Clark made his first win on the PGA Tour a big one, capturing the Tours preemi nent event by erasing a deficit with a final round 67 to beat Robert Allenby by a single shot at the storied Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass. This year, the weeks festivities will include the induction of Ernie Els, Doug Ford, Jock Hutchinson, former President George H.W. Bush and Jumbo Ozaki into the World Golf Hall of Fame in St. Augustine.
