PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

DECORCRYL Premium Acrylic Emulsion Paint DI – 400 is a premium matt decorative wallpaint for interior made
from acrylic emulsion with low Volatile Organic Compound / VOC (organic chemical substance contents that odor and
easy to vapor) combined with special color pigment and Microban® anti-bacterial agent. This quality has a smooth
and luxurious appearance, good stain washability, and provides effective protection from bacteria, germs, and fungus.

Theoretical coverage : 9 - 12 m2 / liter ( per coat, 30 - 40 Dry Film Thickness )
Depend on film thickness and wastage during application.
Drying time : Surface dry = 1 hours ( 30o C )
Depend on temperature and humidity
Packaging : 2.5 liter, 20 liter
Storage : The product must be stored in accordance with national regulations.
Keep the container in a dry, cool, well ventilated space and away
from sources of heat and ignition. Container must be kept tightly
closed. Handle with care.
APPLICATION
Thinning ratio by volume : 10 % clean water
Application tools : Brush, Roll, Air spray or Airless spray
Wet film thickness : 90 – 120 microns ( per coat )
Dry film thickness : 30 – 40 microns ( per coat )
Recommended dry film : 60 – 90 microns ( 2 – 3 x 30 microns ), depend on color
Recoating interval : Minimum 2 hours ( 30o C), when the first paint film already dry
Maximum -
Post treatment : Masking tape is used to protect surface not to be painted, e.g. door
and window frames. As the dry film is elastic, cut the line with a knife
or a cutter before remove the masking tape.
Cleaning : Wash all equipment immediately after use with water

SURFACE PREPARATION
 The surface must be dry, clean, sound, and free from all contaminants. Newly build wall must be dry after 28
days old. Make sure moisture content / dampness of wall ≤ 16 % measured using Protimeter appliance and wall
alkalinity (pH) 7 – 8 measured using Universal pH indicator.
 Remove all loose material or defective paint by thorough brushing and scraping using active fibre brush.
 Treat any areas affected by mould, algae, moss and lichens with PROPAN Fungicidal Wash.
 Repair defects with suitable filler. Use sand and cement mix for large holes and crack. Allow to dry.
 It is recommended to apply alkali resisting primer before applying this coating.

APLICATION CONDITION
Temperature : Minimum 15o C
Maximum 50o C
Humidity maximum : 80 % RH
: Provide adequate ventilation during application and drying.

RECOMMENDED COATING SCHEDULE

- Primer coat : DECOR Alkali Resisting Primer AR – 300 without thinning, 1 x 30 microns, or
DECOR Alkali Resisting Primer AS – 310 without thinning, 1 x 30 microns (for cement
plaster & concrete wall with higher level of alkaline content).
DECOR Wall Sealer DWS - 320 without thinning, 1 x 20 microns (for gypsum partition and
ceiling).

- Finish coat : DECORCRYL Premium Acrylic Emulsion Paint DI – 400 thinning with 1 part of clean water
to 10 parts of paint, 2 – 3 x 30 microns Dry Film Thickness, depend on color.

SAFETY, SECURITY, HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT

Do not take internally. This product is non toxic and non flammable. It does not contain any material with heavy
metals such as mercury and lead. Avoid contact with the skin and eyes. Higher concentrations produce more severe
irritation. Wear suitable protective clothing such as overalls, goggles, dust masks and gloves. Use barrier cream.
Wash splashes from skin or eyes immediately. Ensure adequate ventilation and fresh air entry during application and
drying. If there are experiences eye watering, headaches, dizziness or difficulty breathing, leave the area to obtain
fresh air or wear respiratory protection. If continued difficulty is experienced, get medical attention immediately. Do
not breathe vapor or spray mist. Keep away from food, drink and animal feeding stuffs. Dangerous to fish and other
aquatic life. Do not contaminate watercourses or ground. This material and its container must be disposed of in a
safe way. Avoid all contact with plant life. Close container after each use and keep out of reach of children. Keep in
original container, tightly closed, in cool and dry place. Avoid direct sunlight. Keep from freezing. This container is
used to storage the paint only. Do not apply to surfaces on which food is prepared. Wash hands and exposed skin
before meals and after use. Read all safety, security, health and environment precautions before use.

FIRST AID
Eye contact : Rinse immediately with plenty of clean water. Seek medical advice.
Skin contact : Wash off thoroughly with plenty of water and soap immediately.
Remove contaminated clothing. If irritation occurs, seek medical advice.
Ingestion : Provide symptomatic treatment and seek medical advice
Inhalation : Remove person to fresh air, loosen collar and avoid exertion.
Keep patient rested and give artificial respiration.
