The
Lord Made
Them All 1
So God created great sea creatures and every living thing
that moves, with which the waters abounded, according to
their kind, and every winged bird according to its kind.
And God saw that it was good.

Genesis 1:21
The title of today’s article reminds me of
a beautiful song l learnt many years ago. It
goes thus:
All things bright and beautiful
All creatures great and small
All things wise and wonderful
‘Twas God that made them all.
The Lord made everything you see, both
great and small. He made them special and
unique, and they’re all precious in His sight.
So, treat God’s creation with kindness and
care. Don’t say unkind words to your pets at
home, or make a habit of stomping plants;
that’s not an excellent way to behave. Take
care of everything around you with dignity
and honour, for your heavenly Father made
them all.
Scripture Reading-Proverbs 12:10

2 Build Your
Faith

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the

word of God.

Romans 10:17
Just as houses are built, you can build
your faith too. Houses are built with
bricks and cement, but your faith is built
with God’s Word.
Remember, God has given to everyone
the measure of faith (Romans 12:3). But
it’s your responsibility to build yours and
make it effective.
Build your faith by studying or listening
to the Word. It’s the only ingredient for
building your faith. So, study it diligently
every day. It could be the Word being
taught in church or from the Rhapsody
of Realities for Early Readers.

Scripture Reading-Psalm 119:16

The Word of the Lord builds my

faith and strengthens my spirit. Let’s
Thank you, Lord for the power

Let The Holy
Spirit Teach
You 3
However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will
guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own
authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will
tell you things to come.

John 16:13
Just going to school isn’t enough to be
excellent in your studies. You have to pay
attention in class, do your homework,
and study hard. If you don’t listen to your
teachers, then you’re not a good student,
and you most likely won’t have the best
grades.
In the same way, if you want to grow
spiritually, you’ve got to let the Holy Spirit
teach you. The Bible says He’s the Spirit
of truth because He knows everything and
can teach you about all things.
Therefore, spend quality time with Him
in fellowship. As you study the Word and
pray in tongues often, He’ll teach you all
things including your school works.

The Word
4 Is Living And
Powerful!

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper

than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of
soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner
of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Hebrews 4:12
God’s Word is alive and full of power.
With the Word, you can make changes
in your country, body, school, and family.
That’s how powerful the Word is.
I encourage you to study and meditate on
God’s Word every day, especially during
your special times of personal Bible study.
As you keep up this habit of studying the
Word diligently, you fill your heart with
the Word of power that can change any
situation no matter how hopeless it seems.
So, speak the Word in faith, because what
you say will come to pass. Hallelujah!

Scripture Reading-Psalm 119:9-16;

2 Corinthians 4:13

The Lord Is
Your Refuge

I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my

God, in Him I will trust.”

Psalm 91:2
A refuge is a place of safety and security.
When you were born again, the Lord became
not just your Father, but also your Protector.
That means, He’s your safety and security.
Today’s memory verse were the words of
David. These were his thoughts and confessions
about the Lord and his relationship with Him. No
wonder he lived an amazing life. I encourage
you to have the same thoughts and make these
your confessions too.
Declare boldly that the Lord is your refuge and
your fortress, and that will remain your experience
and testimony every day and forever. Hallelujah!

Scripture Reading-Psalm 125:2

Lord, you’re my Refuge and my

Let’s Fortress, my Defender and Salvation.

The Power

6 of Your
Tongue

Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great

things…

James 3:5
The tongue is a small part of your body, but
it can do a whole lot of good or damage. With
it, you can speak words to create life, bless,
heal, and establish the plans of God in your
life.
However, to see all these beautiful things
in your life and others, you must learn to use
your tongue rightly. Use it to create a life of
blessings and prosperity for yourself.
You must cultivate the habit of speaking
wholesome, honest, and godly words as you
fill your heart with the Word, “…for out of the
abundance of the heart the mouth speaks”
(Matthew 12:34).

Scripture Reading-Proverbs 18:21

With my mouth, I speak life, health, Say

and strength to my body, and I
declare peace and prosperity in, This

A Sacred
Assignment!

I don’t have any reason to brag about preaching the good

news. Preaching is something God told me to do…

1 Corinthians 9:16 CEV

Jimmy was chosen by his teacher to be
the class captain. So, he was in charge
of coordinating the students in his class,
and getting them settled for lessons. This
was a special assignment because out of
the whole class, the teacher trusted Jimmy
with it.
God has given you an assignment too.
It’s an assignment of winning souls! He
wants you to preach the Gospel to your
neighbours, friends, family, and everyone
around you. He trusts you to be dutiful
about this task (1 Timothy 1:11).
So, tell someone about Jesus today as
you get busy with this sacred task.

8 Ingredient
For Success

Take firm hold of instruction, do not let go; keep her,

for she is your life.

Proverbs 4:13
A lot of ingredients go into baking bread.
Of all the ingredients needed, the most
important is the dough. In the same way,
success in life has ingredients too. One of
the most important ingredients for a life of
success is instruction!
Following instructions, no matter how
simple they may seem, is very important.
Joshua followed the Lord’s instructions and
he successfully brought down the walls of
Jericho (Joshua 6:3,20).
Learn to listen to, and follow instructions,
especially from the Lord, and His Word
because that’s the key for your success!

Scripture Reading-Proverbs 15:5

from God’s Word, and these Say

Resist The
Enemy

Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will

flee from you.

James 4:7
As Christians, God has given us the
authority over the enemy (Luke 10:19), and
we’ve got to keep him under our feet where
he belongs. This enemy is the devil.
Therefore, take charge of your school,
neighbourhood, family, and nation through
your faith-filled words. Do not allow the
enemy a foothold around you. And use
the Name of Jesus to establish God’s will
wherever you are. Hallelujah!

Scripture Reading-1 Peter 5:8-9

I rebuke the enemy in my school,

I declare that the peace and mercy
Pray of God reigns all around me, in
Jesus’ Name. Amen!

Take
10 Words With
You!

Take words with you…

Hosea 14:2
When David came against Goliath, he firstly
attacked him with words. David said, “This day
the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I
will strike you and take your head from you…”
(1 Samuel 17:46). Those words weren’t just to
make him feel good; rather, these were the
things he believed.
Like David, your words are living and full
of power. They can change things and turn
situations around in your favour. This is why
you must watch what you say.
So, fill your heart with the Word of God
through study and meditation, and declare it
in faith.

Scripture Reading-Proverbs 18:21

I fill my heart with the Word as

I study and meditate upon it Say

A ‘Blesser’
11
I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make
your name great; and you shall be a blessing.

Genesis 12:2
When God called Abraham, He blessed
him and his seed, and made him a blessing
too (Genesis 12:2).
You’re the seed of Abraham. The Bible
says, “So then those who are of faith are
blessed with believing Abraham” (Galatians
3:9), and that’s you! You’ve been anointed
to bless your world.
You’re a blesser and blessing! Therefore,
as you step out today, be conscious of this
truth. When you are, those around you will
be filled with the goodness, mercy, and
peace of God.

Scripture Reading-Ephesians 1:3

You’re Not

Then I will ask the Father to send you the Holy Spirit who
will help you and always be with you.

John 14:16 CEV

Isn’t it great to know that God is always with
you? No matter how faraway from Him you
think you’ve strayed, or even if you’re the only
one seated in your room, God is right there
with you. He lives in you every day, and He
does this through the Holy Spirit. The moment
you received the Holy Spirit, God Almighty
came to live in you.
So, be conscious of His presence every day.
Spend quality time praying in other tongues,
and fellowship with the Holy Spirit.

Genesis 41:14
If you went to another school to represent
your school, you’d want to be at your best

In the same way, you’re a representative
of God’s Kingdom to your world. Therefore,
this should reflect in everything about you;
from the way you walk, talk and dress.
Always look clean, sharp, and smart.
This is how to show that you’re an excellent

The Sword
Of The Spirit

…and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God

Ephesians 6:17
God’s Word is a weapon. That’s the
reason it’s called “…the sword of the
Spirit…” (Ephesians 6:17). With this
weapon, you can cut out anything that’s
not in line with God’s will for your life.
To use this weapon, you’ve got to get it
into your spirit first!
As you regularly study and meditate
on the Word, just as you’re doing right
now through your Rhapsody of Realities
for Early Readers, you’re soaking your
spirit in the Word.
So, do this every day; make it a habit.

What Are
You Saying?

I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my

God, in Him I will trust.”

Psalm 91:2
What do you say when you’re faced with any
challenge? Unlike what some others would
do, that’s not the time to complain about the
challenges or difficulties; rather, that’s the time
to declare your faith in God and His Word.
Our opening scripture contains the inspiring
words of David. David faced a lot of challenges,
but he never let that shake his trust in the Lord.
He kept saying only the right things, and sure
enough, David was always victorious.
Remember, faith is the victory with which we
overcome the world (1 John 5:4). Hallelujah!

Speak
Courageously

And they gave the children of Israel a bad report of the

land which they had spied out…

Numbers 13:32
Our memory verse is about the twelve spies
and their reports. Moses had sent them to
spy out the land of Canaan. Of the twelve,
only two (Caleb and Joshua) came back with
a report that inspired faith in the Lord and
His promise. “…We have no reason to be
afraid of the people who live there. The LORD
is on our side, and they won’t stand a chance
against us” they said (Numbers 14:9 CEV).
What a display of faith!
Just as Caleb and Joshua spoke in faith
courageously, you should also speak out in
faith. It doesn’t matter what you’re faced with,
be bold to speak God’s Word and make your
faith-filled declarations. This is how to assure
your victory.

Do You

You Are? 17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old
things have passed away; behold, all things have become

2 Corinthians 5:17
Who are you? If you’re asked this question,
you should always have an answer. There’s
something I say often, “I know who I am.” This
isn’t just a fancy statement, but a declaration
of my identity in Christ Jesus.
You’re special, made in the image and likeness
of God. You’re the child of the most-high God,
and He lives in you through the Holy Spirit.
There’s absolutely nothing ordinary about you;
you’re the new creation! Hallelujah!
Therefore, refuse to just let anything happen
to you; rather, take charge of your life through
your words of faith, as someone who truly
knows who he is.

18 The Power
of Gratitude

No matter what happens, always be thankful, for this is

God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 TLB

The story of the ten lepers is an interesting
one. It shows the importance of gratitude. On
that day, the Lord healed ten lepers; however,
only one returned to say ‘Thank you.’ His
attitude of gratitude brought him much more
than just a healing, he had every part of his
body he’d lost restored to him!
Gratitude always brings more. Every time you
show your gratitude to God, your experience
will be “…more than you dare ask or imagine”
(Ephesians 3:20 CEV).

Scripture Reading-Luke 17:11-19

Let Your
Light Shine

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your
good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

Matthew 5:16
As God’s child, people look up to you. The
Bible instructs that you should be an example
in word, behaviour, faith, and purity (1 Timothy
4:12). In other words, let your life point people
to Jesus.
Be that child that reflects the love, kindness,
grace, goodness, and excellence of the Lord
everywhere you go. Let the light of God in you
shine brightly to your world as you show them
the more excellent way to live.

He’ll Perfect
20 Everything
About You

The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy,
O Lord, endures forever; do not forsake the works of Your
hands.

Psalm 138:8
Every child of God was born perfect through
the Word. God’s Word perfects everything about
you; this includes your health, and academics.
Therefore, if there’s an area in your life where
you feel you’re not at your best, you can bring
perfection to it!
Speak faith-filled words over that area; say
what the Word has said boldly. It might be your
health; declare that by His stripes you were
healed, and that you walk in divine health.
If it’s about your academics, declare, “I am
the head, not the tail.” This is how to bring
perfection into every area of your life.

Regard For
People 21
Though the Lord is on high, yet He regards the lowly; but
the proud He knows from afar.

Psalm 138:6
God is the greatest; yet as great as He is, He
regards everyone. He sent His Son, Jesus, to pay
the price for the salvation of everyone in the world
no matter who they are or what they’ve done. His
mercy and love are for everyone.
Therefore, you should have regard for people
too. Regarding others means you treat them
honourably, and respectfully no matter who they
are. This is the right way to behave as God’s child.
Remember, “you are to be perfect, even as your
Father in heaven is perfect” (Matthew 5:48 TLB).

Scripture Reading-1 Peter 2:17

Thank you, dear Father, for teaching

me through your Word today to honour

Overflowing
22 Joy In His
Presence!

This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be
glad in it.

Psalm 118:24
Today is Sunday, and it’s another day to
worship the Lord with other believers. The
Bible says in God’s presence is fullness of
joy (Psalm 16:11).
Think of it: if you put your cup under the
tap to get some water then it gets filled
to the brim, it’ll start overflowing. Isn’t it?
That’s how much joy you get in God’s
presence; overflowing joy—so much that it
spills out to everyone around you.
So, enjoy each moment you spend in
God’s house today, and let His joy in you
overflow to everyone around you.

Prayer; Your
Spiritual
Responsibility 23
Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers,
intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men

1 Timothy 2:1
Just as you have chores at home—it might
be to fold your clothes, keep your room clean,
or wash the dishes—prayer is your spiritual
duty. As God’s child, it’s not optional for you
to pray; it’s compulsory.
From today’s memory verse, the Lord has
shown us the list of people we should pray for.
You should pray for your friends, loved ones,
neighbours, the leaders of your country, and
as many as the Lord lays in your heart.
Therefore, take out special times today to
pray for them. Remember, this is your spiritual
responsibility.

Scripture Reading-Ephesians 6:18

24 Remain
Fruitful!

I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every

branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and
every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear
more fruit.

John 15:1-2
The branch of a tree is the part of the tree
that produces fruits. For the branch to always
be fruitful, it must remain connected to the tree.
As a child of God, you’re the branch while
Jesus is the Vine. So, if you want to keep
producing fruits of righteousness, love, peace,
and success, you must remain connected to
Him. Make it a habit to fellowship with the Lord
Jesus daily through the study of the Word. This
is how you remain connected to Him, and keep
producing fruits.

Scripture Reading-John 15:4-7

I remain connected to the Vine; Say

Be A
HighFlyer

Then this Daniel distinguished himself above the governors

and satraps, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the
king gave thought to setting him over the whole realm

Daniel 6:3
Who is a highflyer? A highflyer is someone
with great ability and ambition to be the best,
especially in academics. In other words, a
highflyer is someone who is excellent in his
studies.
We read in the Bible of God’s children who
were all highflyers, and people of excellence.
Daniel in today’s memory verse was one of
them. He was the best amongst his peers!
This is God’s desire for you too.
Pay attention in class; do your assignments
diligently and spend quality time to study
your subjects. This is how to be a highflyer.
Remember, God wants you to be on top and
always winning.

Scripture Reading-Deuteronomy 28:13

My life is upward and forward;

Say I’m on top always, a highflyer, and
This excellent in all I do. Hallelujah!

Keep The
26 Word In
Your Heart

Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the
midst of your heart

Proverbs 4:21
As you’re being taught in school, you take
notes so you can do a personal study when you
get back home. In the same way, as you hear
and study the Word, you’ve got to write things
down, and keep them in your heart. You keep
the Word in your heart through meditation.
This is why I always encourage you to meditate
on, and speak the Word. As you do so, the Word
stays in your heart, driving it deeper into your
spirit, and nothing can remove it. When you
do this often, you fill your heart with the Word,
and you can be sure you’ll always experience
the blessedness of the Word. Hallelujah!

Scripture Reading-Psalm 119:11-16

The Word is in my heart, and

I speak it forth, creating the Say
realities it talks about and living This
the good life here on earth.
Hallelujah!

“The
Planting Of
The Lord” 27
…That they may be called trees of righteousness, the
planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.

Isaiah 61:3
When a farmer plants a seed, he doesn’t
just leave it there to grow on its own. No! He
tends to it by watering it, and ensuring it gets
enough sunlight.
According to today’s memory verse, you’re
the planting of the Lord. And that means the
Lord will take care of you and tend to you
than the farmer could ever care for his farm.
Remember, He’s your Shepherd (Psalm
23:1); therefore, trust Him to beautify your
life, and make it excellent. So, there’s no
cause to worry about your tomorrow. Glory
to God!

Scripture Reading-Matthew 6:27-30

Say I’m the planting of the Lord, and He

tends and cares for me specially.
This Hallelujah!

You’re Set
Apart

You are My witnesses,’ says the Lord, ‘and My servant

whom I have chosen…

Isaiah 43:10
To be set apart means to be specially selected
from a crowd. That happened to you when you
were born again. The Lord specially selected you
and made you, His witness.
The Lord chose you to tell those in your world;
your class, home, and neighbourhood about
Him and what He’s done. This is a precious and
important assignment. And I encourage you to
take it very seriously.
Reach out to your friends, classmates, neighbours,
and family with the Gospel and win them for Jesus.

Scripture Reading-Jeremiah 1:5,

Romans 1:1

Thank you, Lord, for setting me

apart to be an able minister of Let’s

Seed Time
And Harvest!

While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and

heat, winter and summer, and day and night shall not
cease.

Genesis 8:22
Seed time is the time set aside for planting
seeds while harvest is the time for gathering the
crops. Therefore, if a farmer wants more crops,
he’s got to sow his seeds during seedtime.
This also applies in God’s Kingdom. Your
seedtime is that opportunity you have to sow a
seed. It might be an act of kindness or giving
an offering in church. When such opportunities
come, take advantage of them, and sow. As
you sow, your harvest is guaranteed, and it’ll
be a bountiful harvest of what you’ve sown.
Hallelujah!

Scripture Reading-Ecclesiastes 11:6

I’m wise and spiritually smart;

Say therefore, I sow my seeds at the right
This time, and receive a bountiful harvest
of what I’ve sown. Hallelujah!

He’s

30 Overcome
For You!

These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may

have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of
good cheer, I have overcome the world.

John 16:33
I love today’s memory verse; it’s one of my
favourite scriptures. Every time I read it, it fills me
with so much courage and strength. They’re the
words of Jesus, and He’s telling you today that
no matter what comes your way, you should be
of good cheer. Why? Because He’s overcome
them all for you!
No wonder the Bible says in all these things
you’re already more than a conqueror (Romans
8:37). There’s nothing too big or difficult that
can stand against you. It’s impossible! Jesus
already conquered them all, and gave you the
victory.

Scripture Reading-Romans 8:37

Thank you, dear Lord Jesus, for

conquering the world for me and Let’s
giving me the victory in you. I walk Pray
in the light of your victory. Amen.
