PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Responsibilities:
• Inspect civil engineering works including foundations, structures, and pavements.
• Monitor and verify the quality of materials used in construction.
• Conduct inspections at various stages of construction to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Perform and oversee tests on construction materials, such as concrete, soil, and asphalt.
• Inspect and approve construction materials, such as concrete, steel, asphalt, and other related
to civil activities, to ensure they meet project requirements.
• Ensure testing of concrete activities during executions i.e. (compressive strength, cylinder
casting, slump test, temperature and air content test etc. as per standards.
• Inspection of formwork and reinforcement work as per IFC drawing before concrete pouring.
• Supervision of fresh Concrete work, Pouring, Compaction and Curing.
• Supervision of Excavation work and Backfilling work with approved fill material.
• Perform regular site inspections based on the ITP.
• Checking of rebar as per specification of the project.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly inspection reports and maintain accurate records of
inspections and tests.
• Document non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.
• Issuing of NCR for nonconformance to project drawings.
• Submitting WIR (work inspection request) and MIR (Material Inspection request).
• Making MR (materials request) for different materials need at site.
• Maintain a log of all quality-related issues and follow up on resolutions.
• Collaborate with project engineers, site managers, and contractors to address quality concerns.
• Attend project meetings to discuss quality control issues and updates.
• Ensure all activities comply with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Assist in the preparation of quality control plans and procedures.
• Provide guidance and training to construction staff on quality standards and practices.
