Writing about my family
Dear M,
I'm going to tell you about my family. My family have five members :my mum, dad, brother, my sister
and me. We live in a small village in Nam Dinh province.
My father’s name is Cong Chinh. He is 51 years old. He is a business man. But he is a wonderful man.
Although he is busy every day, he still spends time with his family, teaching my brother to study or
playing sports with me.
My mother’s name is Minh Hang. She is 49 years old. She is a teacher. She is the main teacher for us
throughout our learning path, taking care of our education. She especially enjoys cooking and
embroidery.
About my brother, Tuan Phi. He is 3 years younger than me but has mature thoughts. We have similar
interests like playing sports, badminton, swimming, etc. He is quite good at math but has problems in
English. So I often help him at learning.
My sister is Duong. She is currently a senior student at a university. So we can’t meet each other often.
Unlike me and my younger brother, she studies and writes very well. She hopes to become a famous
writer in the future.

Writing about my daily rountine
Every morning from Monday to Saturday, I get up at 5 o'clock and follow a quick workout to energize
myself for the day ahead. Then, I brush my teeth, wash my face and enjoy a nutritious breakfast and a
glass of milk to kick-start my morning. As a student at a university, I will go to the morning class if I have.
Or I will spend time at the library reading more documents about my major. I usually have lunch after
that. In the afternoon, I have the class or sometimes I hang out with my friends or play sports. In the
evening, I will spent time studying about 3 hours. After that, I watch movies for entertainment and go to
bed at 11 o'clock.
Writing a description of my house
My house is a country house in a small village in Nam Dinh province. My house has two floors. There are
four bedrooms, one living room, one kitchen and two bathroom. On the first floor, it has living room,
kitchen, a bathroom and my parents' room. In the living room, we have two sofas, an armchair, a little
table and a smart TV. My parents' room is next to the living room. My parents have in their room a big
bed, they have two little tables, their closet is behind the windows. The kitchen is opposite the living
room. In the kitchen we have a fridge, a cooker, a cupboard and a big table. On the second floor, there is
my bedroom, my brother's bedroom, my sister’s room and a bathroom. The room of my sister has a
desk under the window, she has a bookshelf next to the desk, her bed is far from the window and her
closet is next to the bed. My brother’s and my room are next to my sister’s room. In addition to basic
appliances, we have hobby items such as badminton rackets, soccer balls,... The front and back of the
house have a small garden. Home is where I grew up and I love it very much.

Hi! My name is Quynh Anh. Let me tell you about myself. I grew up in Nam Dinh. Currently, I am a
college student with a major in education. I'm a quiet and introverted person, but I'm always willing to
listen to others' opinions and learn from their experiences. I am impressed with people who are honest,
trustworthy and bring positive energy. I want to become great like them. On the other hand, I want to
avoid negative things and find opportunities for personal development. In my free time, I often read
books, stories or find documents to improve my knowledge about my major. My hobbies are reading,
cooking and playing sports. I always make time to play sports after a day of school and work.

Long time no see you. I hope you and your family are well.
My birthday is coming up, I'm going to hold a small party and I want to invite you to the birthday party
so we can meet each other after a long time. It's an outdoor barbecue. Both M, S and old friends came. I
think it will be a great party. Remember to come this coming November 17th.
