Largest to Smallest States in India

Many people don't know about the largest state of India by population-wise
and area-wise and the largest union territory of India by population-wise and
area-wise. There is a total of 28 states and 8 union territories in India as of
now. The largest state in India in terms of area is Rajasthan with 342,239
Km² followed by Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. Uttar Pradesh is
the most populated state in India followed by Maharashtra and Bihar. Here
we have covered the list of the Indian States, and Union Territories with area

Rajasthan is the largest state in India in terms of area which covers
342,239 km² of land area. As per the Census 2011, the total population of
Rajasthan is 68548437. Geographically it is situated in the northwestern part
of India. The capital of Rajasthan is Jaipur which is also known as “Pink City”.
Goa is the smallest state in India which covers 3702 km ². The list of states in
