DEADROCK
You awaken from cryosleep aboard your starship, the “Morningstar”.
Immediately you can tell that something has gone terribly wrong. The alarms
are blaring and red lights are flashing. As you enter the cockpit you see that
the ship is out of control and is about to crash on an alien planet. You strap
yourselves in and prepare for impact. Make an Average difficulty Pilot throw.
Success. No damage to crew. Failure. Everyone takes 2D damage.
In either case. You crash, the lights go out and you lose consciousness.

The Crash
As you come to your senses, you hear the hiss of air being sucked outside.
The computer displays a damage report. The computer also detects what
appears to be debris from another ship some distance away.

Computer report on planet Beta Cygni II

• Earth-like gravity (1.1g)
• Thin carbon dioxide atmosphere (like Mars)
• Mainly desert, some rocky areas, almost no water.
