CRITIQUE PAPER: The rising number of Filipinos wanting to go abroad.

As Immanuel Kant stated, "All our knowledge begins with the senses,
proceeds then to the understanding, and ends with reason. There is nothing higher
than reason." This perspective relates to the rising number of Filipinos aspiring to go

families. Their migration is largely influenced by reason like underemployment,
safety concerns, and limited career advancement in the Philippines. According with
econometric analysis, it shows that remittances, salary levels, political instability and
unemployment significantly affect the migration of overseas Filipino workers, with a
positive correlation between remittances and the number of migrants. Economic
globalization, along with ongoing danger poverty and unemployment challenges in
the Philippines, it motivates Filipinos to pursue better opportunities abroad, despite
the difficulties and risks with being an overseas worker. Specifically, in order, to
provide the needs and survives every single day of living, to sustain and build
children's better and satisfying life and great future, Filipino's instinct through their
knowledge, understanding and experience are made them to decide and choose going
abroad as a solution on their circumstances.

To sum up, the rising number of Filipinos wanting to go abroad can be seen as
a reflection of the power of reason in guiding human decision-making, just like Kant’s
statement highlights the importance of reason in our understanding and experience of
the world. Additionally, it can be noted that it regarded to a variety of factors, each
creating a meaningful role in shaping individual's decision. Whether it is for the
adventure, employment opportunities, or personal ambitions, going overseas offers
Filipinos a chance to explore new journey, gain valuable life experiences, and secure
