As we approach the momentous occasion of our 77th Independence Day, it is with great
joy that the team at EuroSchool HSR invites you to our Independence Day Fest -
"TIRANGA," on August 10, 2024. This annual celebration is filled with competitions that
are meant to celebrate our commitment to our nation. This year we aim to deepen our
love and dedication to Indian heritage, customs and culture by embracing the ideals of
Sustainable Development Goals.

With the motto "NATION FIRST, ALWAYS FIRST," our festival will take you on a journey
to transcend the ecstasy of freedom and reflect on India’s development.

Participation in this event will offer students an invaluable opportunity to explore diverse
talents and philosophies focused towards creating a better world. It promises to be an
inspiring occasion, encouraging our young participants to prioritize sustainability and
social responsibility.

We eagerly anticipate an ardent celebration of the spirit of freedom, striving to make


India a better place to live and witnessing the enthusiastic involvement of students in this
extraordinary festival.

GENERAL RULES
Tiranga this year is an online interschool fest to be held on the
Google Meet Platform. Some events will be held live while others
will be judged on their recorded videos.

• Participants must avoid using their school name and personal


name.
• Participants will NOT participate in their school uniform. They will
wear appropriate and formal wear.
• One participant/team can participate in more than one event.
• Participants cannot take part in more than one event which are
scheduled at the same time.
• Participants must login 5 minutes prior to the start time for all
events.
• Last date for registration is 31st July, 2024.

Including an SDG value to your presentation would be an added


bonus.

Link for submission of the recorded entry and the live event will be
shared closer to the date of the event.

Dispute Resolution:

• In case of any disputes, the decision of the judges and organizing


committee will be final and binding.
• Participants must raise any concerns or disputes with the organizers
promptly and respectfully.
Technical Requirements:

• Participants must have access to a stable internet


connection and a compatible device (computer, tablet, or
smartphone).
• Participants are responsible for ensuring their devices meet
the technical requirements.
• Participants’ videos should be kept on throughout the event,
failing which may lead to disqualification. The camera may
be switched off on the instruction of the host/judge.
• Participants’ microphones should be muted at all times,
unless directed otherwise.

Conduct:

• Participants must maintain academic integrity and honesty


throughout the event.
• Any form of cheating, including plagiarism or use of
copyrighted material will result in immediate
disqualification.
• Use of offensive, inappropriate or controversial content will
lead to immediate disqualification.
• Participants are expected to adhere to respectful behaviour
towards other participants, organizers and the subject
matter.
• Join sessions on time. If you arrive late, enter quietly and try
not to disrupt the ongoing session.
• Use the designated methods (e.g., chat box, raise hand
feature) to ask questions or make comments.
• Participate actively and attentively. Avoid multitasking
during sessions.

● The recorded entry should be a one-shot video. Any editing or addition of
special effects will result in disqualification.

● Western, folk, fusion (semi-classical and western) - Dance to be performed
on either one of the styles.
● Teams may use props to complement their dance theme (optional).

As this is an online competition, participants must strictly adhere to age
and grade guidelines.
Costumes should be appropriate for the dance theme. Teams with
inappropriate attire will be disqualified.
