stair cases, rung ladder, general lighting and ventilation are excluded)

NOTE: -
Sewage treatment plant shall include the supply, installation, testing & commissioning of the
following items but not limited to this, if any extra item is required for proper functioning of
a
STP or to get the given output parameters, will be supplied & executed by contractor with out
any additional cost.
Contractor shall ensure submission of Detail GA Drawing (Plan & Section) P& I Diagram,
b Flow diagram, Design Calculation of all elements of the Plant, Schedule of Equipment,
Electrical Power load of Equipment, Electrical Mechanical Shop Drawing related to STP work
Associated civil work for STP including foundation of pumps, railing, walk ways, MS/ RCC

stairs are excluded from the scope of STP contractor.
Contractor shall include all electrical & mechanical items as required to operate the system
and also include in his rates level controller, electrical wiring cables earthing main control
panel and connection to be various equipment’s, earthing, earthing strips cable, cable tray

other accessories complete as required. Only main power supply upto the STP main control
panel shall be provided by the owner through other agencies. The specifications for Electrical
Panel given below.
STP Contractor should follow the norms i.e. CPCB etc. as applicable, includes any other
e approval from local authorities required for the execution of work and operations for the
completion of work.
Bypass arrangement shall be provided as shown in the drawings or as required at site such
that equalization tank pump can be used to pumpout sewage up to 10 m away from the STP
f in case of maintenance of STP. Wherever more than two pumps or blower is proposed,
arrangement should be made in such a way that each equipment can take care of any of the
stream.

1 PRETREATMENT DEVICES AND PLANT ACCESSORIES

Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of Manual SS 304 Coarse Screen (Area as
1.1 required) of 10 mm spacing between the bars /perforation with suitable lifting arrangement Set 1

Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of Manual SS 304 Fine Screen (Area as
required) of 5 mm spacing between the bars /perforation with suitable lifting arrangement

2 MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT: PUMPS, BLOWERS etc.

Equalized waste water transfer pumps:
 Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of fully Submersible type pump centrifugal non-
clog open impeller pump for raw sewage transfer from equalization tank, capable of handling
solids of 30 to 35 mm having CI casing & CI / SS impeller, SS 304 shaft complete with all
accessories, motor of required capacity. Delivery header with presure gauge, header drain
2.1 with valve, isolation valve, NRV, level controller along with Control Panel (with probe &
wiring to control the level of sump automatically) and other accessories as required.Delivery
header will be made in such a manner that any pump can be diverted to any stream.
Necessary valve and piping will be done accordingly.

Provision of guide ropes & lifting arrangement to guide submersible pump from upper level to

system as per requirement capable of handling 3-5 cfm air with oxygen transfer efficiency of

Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of MBBR Media made up of vergin PE

2.7 Centrifugal water pumps

Note- All pumps to be provided with mechanical seal and wearing ring and mechaical
seal. Performance curve should be got approved before placing the order. (All pumps
should be supplied with base frame) (All level controller , water meter & Pumps shall
be BMS compatible. )
Supplying, installing, testing & commissioning of Horizontal centrifugal filter feed water
pumps CI Head & Base, Impler Bronze/SS-316, Shaft SS-410 along with TEFC induction
motor 2900 RPM suitable for 415±10% /50 cycles per second with following capacity volts,
pressure gauge with isolation cock, Isolation valve, NRV on delivery line. Isolation valve,
strainer at suction, Mechanical seal, suitable vibration elimination pads of approved design,
drain pipe with valve (25 dia.) for the pump.

The pump shall be selected for performance at best efficiency point. However, the pump
selection shall be suitable for performance with set point @ + 30% of the rated head.

2.8 TERTIARY TREATMENT: FILTRATION, POLISHING

Supplying, installing, testing and commissioning of MSEP filter vessel with frontal piping
with diameter od 80mm . Filter shall be suitable for working pressure of 3 kg / cm2 and test
pressure of 4.5 kg/cm2 shall include media, standard fittings like pressure gauges, sampling
cock, backwash, rinse drain, vacuum breaker with CI individual Butterfly Valves PN-10 with
complete accessories. Dish End to be 8 mm & Shell Thickness to be 6mm & HOS to be 1800
to 1875 mm.Internal surface of tank with epoxy coating & external surface with primer and

2.9 Drainage Sump Pumps for WTP

Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of Submersible non clog single vane open
impeller pumps connected to water cooled submersible motor for 415 + 10% volts, 3 phase,
50 cycles A.C. power supply. The pump shall be provided with a lifting chain/guide rail, 10m
length of cable etc. as per requirement complete in all respects.
Pump shall be installed in a set of Two pumps including electrical control panel with
sequencer for alternate running, both pumps together in case of flooding, auto manual
selector switch, float type level sensors, audible hooter for failure of pumps or flooding
complete.
(Pumps shall be open impeller non-clog type to handle minimum solids of 40 mm size with
CI body, S.S. shaft, CI impeller with cable, mechanical seal. Both Pumps will be working
during back wash or draining of water tanks)

8 ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION FOR STP - Common for Both the Streams

8.1 POWER AND MOTOR CONTROL CENTRES:
Design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of following MCC
panels suitable for 415 V, 3 phase, 4 wire, 50 Hz power distribution system. The panel shall
be Indoor IP-42, free standing, floor mounting, sheet metal clad, cubicle.
All MCCBs shall be provided with magnetic & adjustable thermal releases for short circuit &
overload protection with front drive kit (rotary operating handle). Quoted rates should be
inclusive of float type sensor to cut in and cut off pumps, dry running protection and audible
hooter for high level.
NOTES :
The BOQ shall be read in conjunction with general notes, specification and Single Line
Diagram (attached for Ref.). Incase of any discrepancy between specification, BOQ and
a
SLD, the same shall be brought to the notice of Client/Consultant before quoting rates,
otherwise stringent condition shall be deemed to have been considered.
b Fault current wherever mentioned shall be Ics value. (Ics = 100% Icu)
 All MCCB shall be provided with door interlocked rotary handle with ON/TRIP/OFF position
indicator, continious variable thermal magnetic O/C and S/C releases. The MCCB above

250A rating shall be provided with microprocessor based releases (settable at site). I/C
MCCB shall be provided with E/F release/Earth Fault protection also.
d All TP/TPN feeders shall have solid isolable neutral link.
e All MCCB used in starter feeder shall be suitable for motor duty application.
f Spare contacts of ACB/Relays/Contactor etc. shall be wired upto terminal block.
All switchgear used in starter feeder shall be type-2 co-ordinated. Manufacturer is required to

submit manufacturers type-2 coordination chart for the make used.
Starters along with one spare for each set of motor shall be provided with MPCB, suitable for
the specified Kw of motor (as per SLD), AC3 power contactors, single phasing preventor, on-
h off Trip Indication Lamps, Start Stop Push Buttons, Auto Manual selector switch Ammeter
with Suitable ratio CTs, Auxillary Contacts for Building Automation system and remote
control, interlocking etc
All outgoing terminals (power and control) shall be brought upto cable alley. 10% extra

m Panel shall be powder coated of approved shade with minimum 60 micron thickness.

8.2 STP Panel :

8.2.1 Incomer :
One (1) Nos. 100 A, 415 V, 16 kA 4P MCCB.
8.2.1 Metering & Indication :
Incomer breaker shall be provided with the following:
One (1) No. digital multifunction meter for measurement of voltage and current with 1 Set (3
a Nos) of 500 A/5A, CL 1.0, 5VA CTs and selector push button.(ELF-3259 of Conzerv or
equivalent)
b One set ( 3 nos.) phase indication lamps with control MCB.
c One set (3 Nos.) status indication lamps for ON/OFF/Trip with control MCB.
8.2.2 Busbar :
625A, 16kA, TPN Aluminium busbar insulated with PVC colour coded heat shrinkable sleeve.
8.2.3 Outgoings :
Required TP MPCB for DOL starter (with suitable rating as per selection of equipmet) with
thermal range as per Type-II co-ordination chart and one spare
8.2.4 Starter :
Starter shall be complete with AC3 duty power contactor, thermal O/L Relay, single phasing
preventer, ON-OFF and Trip Indicating lamps, Start/ Stop push bottons, Auto Manual
selector switch, auxiliary contacts for Building Automation System & remote control,
interlocking etc. suitable for the motor H.P. as required for all equipment in STP and one 32A
TPN MCCB to be provided for Flushing transfer Pumps from STP Panel.

ferrules, double compression glands, solder cable sockets, insulation tap etc. complete as
required.
8.7 Cable Trays :
Supply, installation of ladder type/perforated type cable trays of the following sizes fabricated
out of perforated hot dip galvanised MS sheets of minimum 2 mm thick with 75 mm flange to
be installed horizontally or vertically. The cable tray shall be complete including cost of

bends, elbows, cross, tees, reducers etc as per drawings/site condition and rate shall include
cost of supports, fasteners, screws, nuts, bolts and misc. other fixing hardware painting of
support structure etc as required.
8.8 Supply, installation of earthing for STP equipment and Panel with calculation and SLD. Lot 1 500,000.00

Structural steel such as ISMC, ISA, flats, rods etc to be used for cable tray/bus duct support

The cable tray shall be factory built. Bidder shall include the price of, required numbers of
