A practical aspect of physical education is important for project
as it involves a detailed study of knowledge which when
applied in practical problems help us arrive at a much-desired
result.

Project is one of the best ways to judge how efficiently the


theoretical concept has been understood during the classroom
teaching and applied while doing this project.

Projects like these teach us not only the practical method but
also perseverance, time management, and presentation skills.
Project based learning is a way of working together. if we learn
to take responsibility for our own learning, we will form the basis
for the way we will work with others in our adult lives. This
significantly develops interest for learning in children like us and
when children are interested in what they are doing and are
able to use their areas of strength, they achieve at a higher
level.

The purpose of carrying out this project is to help students


have full command and knowledge of games.
PREFACE

Meaning : Education means modification of


behavior, so the meaning of
physical education is the
modification of human behavior
through physical activities.

Scope: There are many scopes in physical


education like competitions,
recreation purpose, self-defence,
adventure and rhythmic activity as
a professional and research
programmer.

definition: Physical Education may be


defined as an instruction in the
development and care of the body
ranging from simple callisthenic
exercises to a course of study
providing training in hygiene,
gymnastics and the performance
and management of athletic
games.
CONCLUSION

Physical Education provides much needed foundation


for individuals to enable to develop their personality
in all respects. “Physical Education is and integral
part of the total education process and aims for the
development of physically, mentally, emotionally and
socially fit citizens through the medium of physcial
activities which have been selected carefully realizing
their outcomes.

Physical Education and sports contribute to self


actualization, self esteem, and a healthy response to
physical activity. A well planned and conducted
physical education and sports programme can
achieve, such results as a recognition of the potential
activity for the relief of tension and awareness of
what one’s body is capable of doing, along with a
better self image.
