Product Definition
Only Temenos can define:
Product Lines
Property Classes
Property Class Attributes
The user can define:
Product Group
Product
Property
Product Condition
In a Product, the user can view the associated Product Group.
In the below example, the Product is DEPOSIT.NEGOTIABLE and it belongs to the DEPOSITS Product Group.
Similarly, in a Product Group, the user can view the associated Product Line.
In the below example, the Product Group is IS.CONST.PFT.FIN and it belongs to the LENDING Product Line.
Product Condition defines,
Set of default values for the attributes of Property Class
Certain processing rules
Restrictions in case of modifying the values
NOTE: Product Conditions are linked to Property at Product level. Each Property should have atleast one Product Condition assigned to it.
Every Product Line is a composition of multiple Property Classes, some of which can be set as mandatory by Temenos. The user can create Product
Groups under a Product Line by linking Properties to respective Property Classes.
AA allows users to create their own Product Lines along with the associated Property Classes. These Product Lines and Property Classes have
limited functionality, and designated as “external”. However, the user is allowed to create Products with defined data characteristics and open
arrangements under these products.
