The PS65 sensor belongs to the Parker family of
accessories provided to complement electronic control ALUMINUM CASE INSTALLED AS SHOWN
M8-1.25 THREADS X 2 SS NUTS
systems. The PS65 is a magnetic proximity sensor for
mobile hydraulic applications and will sense magnetic
objects. The sensor may be combined with our

complementary magnet target. The sensor has 6 inch

leads with an attached Deutsch connector. To make
the sensor suitable for mobile equipment, we have
focused upon properties such as reliability and ease of
installation.
Properties
Reliability
The PS65 has a threaded aluminum construction for
strength and corrosion resistance. The sensor uses
non-contact technology, through the use of an internal
reed switch, for trouble free operation. Switch activation
is a function of the strength of the actuator (magnet),

how close it is to other ferrous objects, and the air gap
distance. The sensor is very robust and able to withstand 18 AWG - Type TXL
rugged applications.
Installation
The PS65 is well designed for the mobile hydraulics
industry. The 2 pin connector is a sealed Deutsch
DTM type designed for automotive use. This connector
combined with potted electronics gives the sensor
excellent protection for exposed outdoor applications.
The threaded body and included stainless steel jam nuts
make alignment simple. These features provide for easy 1 2
installation and removal, even in field conditions. MATING CONNECTOR
