Engine Machine Shop In-Process Quality/Plant Quality (Cylinder Head, Block & Crank) (Aluminum & Cast-iron)

Machining Responsibility-
 Working as Powertrain machining shop Quality Process Coach with below listed responsibilities: -

 Leading machining shop quality function for Cylinder Block, Cylinder Head and Crank line.

 Having experience in handling line quality team to ensure and improve product quality by 100%
inspection, frequency wise inspection and sampling techniques to sustain customers’ requirements.

 Responsible to attending customer complain and providing ICA for smooth operation & 5D & 8D as PCA.

 Responsible for daily line quality issue analysis of both engine machining and assembly with the help of
fishbone technology, brainstorming and other analytical technique and Responsible for implementation and
monitoring of corrective action, then ensure horizontal deployment as well, as preventive action.

 Monitoring and control of various processes and quality work such as verification of CMM, surface finish &
adcole, hommel & hand gauging measurement report verification on daily basis.

 Responsible for taking the final decision of all measurement doubtful results.

 Monitoring the live process performance through SPC Control chart with the help of QDAS Software.

 Planning & perform the long term and short- term capability study (Cpk / Ppk).

 Proactive in Continuous Improvements & Cost Saving trough DMAIC & KAIZEN.

 Monthly review & update Control plan, Inspection sheet and other documents with CFT team.

 Responsible for achieving 0/100 mindset (Zero Rejection/100% flow) targets & improvement in PPM matrix
with optimum resources.

 Having hands on experience of all AIAG Quality Core Tools (Like-APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA & SPC).

 Working with CFT team for APQP and prepare PPAP documents and other documents for our customers

as well as for our internal processes.

 Attending breakdown of all measuring equipment.
(13-ZEISS CMM, 6 Surface finish, 2 ADCOLE, 1 Hommel, 1 Topo meter & 800nos. attribute gauges).

 Responsible for adherence of MSA (AMC, Calibration & R&R) of lab equipment Carl Zeiss CMM,
ADCOLE, Topo meter, Hommel optical gauge & all line attribute and variable gauges etc.

QMS Responsibility-
 Ensuring Quality management systems and ford production system are established, implemented, and
maintained through internal audit, Process & Product audit.

 Maintain, Update & Auditing all document to meet the requirement of Ford Production System & ISO9001.

 Upgrading quality team versatility/skills through various training of all quality related tools and technique.
