        Beginner friendly & Not A Get-Rich-Quick Scheme.
Hi there! My name is Victoria and I’m an Affiliate Marketer also
known as a Digital Marketer. I help others learn how to create
online businesses and get FREE TRAFFIC through the power of
social media. Affiliate marketing has allowed me to make MONEY
WHILE I SLEEP, literally! Affiliate marketing is a fantastic way to
earn HUGE COMMISSIONS and anyone can do it (even YOU)!
Some housekeeping before we dive in
  ● What you’ll find in this guide is NOT a get rich quick scheme.
If you are seeking that then you are wasting your time
because this requires hard work, consistency, dedication,
and creativity. This guide is for people who will put in the
    work.
  ● Included are strategies that will help you jump-start as well
as scale your online business. I personally use these
strategies and am happy to share them with you.
  ● Focus on yourself for the next few weeks and work on your
education. You can own your own business, it takes time
    but it can happen.
Okay… YOU READY?! Let’s jump right in!
Let’s Get Started W/ The Basics. What is Affiliate Marketing?
Affiliate marketing is simply earning a commission by promoting
a product or service for a company. When a customer purchases
the product/service you’re promoting using your affiliate link then
YOU GET A COMMISSION! Boom. That’s affiliate marketing in a
                             nutshell.
There are a lot of redeeming qualities when it comes to
affiliate marketing
   ➢ Beginner friendly
➢ You choose a niche based on YOUR interests
➢ NO customer service or inventory
   ➢ NO experience needed
   ➢ LOW start up costs
I’ll break down affiliate marketing in 5 easy steps.
STEP #1: Pick A Niche (Topic of Interest)
What are your hobbies and interests you have? You want to choose
a niche that you enjoy, because this will make it easier for you to
create content. You want to be passionate about your niche
because of two things: 1. It won’t feel like a chore (This is your
business! You want to
love what you do!) & 2. Your audience can tell if you are being
fake and that makes them not trust you.
Before you pick a niche here are some questions you need to
ask yourself. What’s a problem that people have that I could
help solve? What are they looking for and what do they want?
   ● Answer: Identify your targeted audience with a SPECIFIC
PROBLEM then introduce them to your solution.
   ● Marketing tip: You want to focus on direct response
marketing, meaning create content that triggers an
emotional response by encouraging them to take a specific
     action.
        ○ Example: Let’s say you’re promoting a protein powder
to people who want to build muscle.
               ● Niche: Health & Fitness
               ● Audience: People who want to become fit
               ● Problem: They want to build muscle mass fast
               ● Solution: Introduce them to your awesome
protein powder that builds muscle mass
Step #2: Pick an Affiliate Program & Product/Service
There’s no shortage of affiliate programs and products to choose
from. Some common programs you may have heard of are:
Amazon, Target, and Walmart. However, since these are huge
companies that already have a massive amount of customers, they
have low commissions. There are many other companies that have
much better affiliate programs so don’t let Amazon be your main
offer (You can still be an affiliate for Amazon but don’t let it be
your main focus. I hope that makes sense).
When choosing a product or service to promote, be sure to check
out their website to see how it’s set up and if they offer email
templates or free resources to use when contacting leads.
How to sign-up to become an affiliate for a company? ○ Go to
the company’s website you want to be an affiliate for
      ○ Fill out their affiliate form
        ○ Once accepted, you’ll get a unique link that is tied to
           your account
        ○ Promote that product or service, it’s that easy
Here are a few marketplaces to find affiliate programs. I
recommend these.
   1. ClickBank
  2. JVZoo.com
  3. WarriorPlus.com
  4. And of course, Google
Step #3: Build A Sales Funnel & Autoresponder
A sales funnel is going to be the backbone of your affiliate
marketing business. The #1 mistake an affiliate marketer does is
send traffic straight to the offer… Yep. HUGE MISTAKE. A good
affiliate marketer will send traffic to their sales funnel first because
most of the time your audience isn’t ready to purchase right away,
so the sales funnel will collect their emails and you can send
follow-up emails to them. This is how affiliate marketers make their
money by following up with leads.
What is a sales funnel? A sales funnel is going to be a 2 page
website process that introduces you and the product/service
you’re promoting to your audience and most importantly, your
sales funnel is going to collect email addresses from your
audience! A proper sales funnel will ask for their email before
sending them to the offer page.
#1 priority as an affiliate marketer is to collect those emails so
you can follow-up with leads and promote other related
products/services.
Let’s analyze this beautiful graph that I created to explain more
in depth about how a sales funnel works.
  1. Traffic: this is where you find your targeted audience
     within your niche
  2. Opt-in page: this is where you collect their email addresses
(this is required so you can follow-up with them and to
     promote other products or services).
 3. Bridge page- this is where you introduce yourself on video so
the audience knows you’re a real person and they will be
more likely to build trust with you. (A picture of yourself is
okay if you’re camera shy but video is best). This is also where
you introduce the product/service to the audience and explain
your experience with the product/service and what it can do
     for them.
        a. Your affiliate link goes on this page. In a perfect world
you want to encourage your audience to take immediate
action by purchasing it, but if they don’t that’s what
          emailing is for!
How to build a sales funnel?
I know it sounds intimidating but I assure you it’s not. You don’t
have to build a website from the ground up or do any coding. You’ll
be using a sales funnel software which is a drag and drop
environment and most software have templates you can use. You
have to have this inorder to create your opt in page and bridge
page.
Software options:
  1. I personally use ClickFunnels. Yes, it is a bit pricey at
$97/month but it is user friendly, has awesome features, and
is geared towards affiliate marketers which I like a lot.
  2. Systeme- Their plan is 100% free and their paid plan is
$27/month but the free plan is all you need to get
     started.
How to build an autoresponder?
An autoresponder is the email marketing software where you
build your email list and retarget your leads. To a successful
affiliate marketer this is CRITICAL to have and it’s affordable.
Software options:
  1. AWeber- is a popular choice and is also my personal
favorite because of the features they offer and their great
customer service. AWeber has a free plan for up to 500
subscribers and their paid plan is $20/month.
  2. GetResponse- is a good choice but they don’t have a free
     plan. It’s $15/month.
Marketing tip: Make sure to tell your audience about your
story. People like when you can relate to them. Facts tell,
stories sell.
Step #4: Driving Traffic
After you get your sales funnels set-up and ready to go. It’s time
to promote! There’s two kinds of traffic: organic (free traffic) and
paid traffic (ads). For a newbie I recommend focusing on organic
traffic because it’s FREE!
Organic traffic is creating content on social media: TikTok,
Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube. You’ll want to post
consistently and only post about your niche focusing on providing
some kind of value. Also, talk about your story because people
like that connection and will build trust with you.
Below I’m going to link the #1 training I recommend to all
beginner affiliates to get started.

Step #5: Repeat!
That’s it! Make sure you put in some hard work and be consistent.
You’ll have days when you don’t want to work on your side hustle
but power through. Plan ahead. Create content ahead of time and
have it ready to go for those busy days.
Remember, just have patience. It WILL take time. You won’t be
able to quit your day job in the early stages of your business but
you’re building a legitimate business. Just take one day at a time
and don’t give up. Feel free to reach out to me with questions!
