Problem Statement
Healthcare, as we know, is primarily about people-to-people interactions. It is about understanding, diagnosis,
physical contact, communication and ultimately, providing care. All of this is facilitated by examining, testing,
information gathering, research and so forth. The task for every healthcare system is to maximize the personal
contact at the same time maximizing the technical input, while all the time operating within a sustainable
financial framework.
There are many concerns about the wide range services of the healthcare sector due to the fact that there are still
many people who are not in the proximity of any health care and cannot be given enough medical attention by
healthcare professionals and medical volunteer groups because of their outlying locations. Telemedicine offers
help in meeting these conflicting needs by improving access to data and to individuals while driving down the
costs of doing so.
Program Goals
The goal is to enable the communication and sharing of medical information in electronic form and facilitate
access to remote locations of the country by obtaining an expert’s opinion, supporting local clinicians who may
not have all the skills they need, making sure technical information is interpreted wisely in very difficult
circumstances and ensure the best use of very scarce resources. Thus, a physician located far from a reference
centre can consult his colleagues remotely in order to solve a difficult case.
Overview
This is the program we support the local govt authorities to render medical services to minority and underserved
groups in the society by enabling local healthcare workers with technology & a minor incentive for the work
done. This proposal also aims to iterate the need for establishing a system that would facilitate in the expansion
of the network of medical professionals who extend help to those underserved communities in the remote
location. The system can give the patients ease of access and more treatment services through telemedicine.
Project Execution Plan
Appointment for the beneficiary in the village
The beneficiary from the comfort of his home can get his/her diagnostics done by a healthcare worker &
Book a virtual appointment. Doctors then accept an appointment through a video conference & addresses the
       beneficiary.
Thus, the beneficiary avails easy tele-consults without any app installation. Appointments are sent as SMS,
       email & WhatsApp link.
Consultation by the doctor in City
The Doctor logs into his consultation portal that is completely integrated, intuitive and simple, studies the
patient history generated by the healthcare worker, if needed may ask the health worker to perform certain
vitals or basic tests for the evaluation purpose and finally releases the e-prescription.
Thus, the process reduces cost and saves time
