9. General Trouble Shooting 10. RS-232 C Interface Instructions
Listed below are common problems and simple solutions. This instruction is for RS-232 C interface connecting the TBF-215 to a Personal Computer
Trouble Solution (PC) or printer.

The Unit Does Not Turn On

“UUU” is Shown Do not stand on the platform while entering personal data. Stand on the
platform only after the flashing arrow appears next to “Step On”.

Key is Not Functioning

Please confirm the following:
A Reverse Cable must be used to connect to a PC.
The number of copies selected is more than “0”
There is no paper jam in the printer assembly. A Modem Cable can not be used.
