2. What is a Domain name under trademarks?
3. What is the difference between Geographical Indication and Collective mark.
4. Enumerate the objectives of Berne Convention.
5. What is the meaning of the word 'Original' under Copyright Act?

8. "A monopoly of the Patent is the reward of the Inventor". In the light of the above statement
discuss the objects of the Patent Act and also explain its salient features.
9. What is Surrender and Revocation of Patents? Under what circumstances there can be
surrender and revocation?

11. "Copyright is protection in form and not in idea." Explain. Also explain provisions in
respect of infringement of copyright in dramatic and musical work.

particularly with regards to goods uniquely associated with such names." Discuss in the
context of International Law relating to Geographical Indications.

14. The Copyright societies are authorized to issue and grant licenses not only in respect of
performance of the work in public but also in respect of all rights relating to any class of
works in which copyright subsists during the period. Explain.
15. X is using mark 'OCUFLOX' for a drug used in treatment of eyes containing a compound
Ofloxacin. Y files for passing off against X claiming that he is the prior user of mark OCUFLOCK,
a drug used for treatment of eye and ear having compound Ciprofloxacin HCL. He further
contends that OCUFLOX is deceptively similar to OCUFLOCK. X replied that both the drugs are
Schedule L drugs which can be sold in hospitals and hence cannot cause confusion and deception.
What are the factors to be considered in this case in deciding the question of deceptive similarity
and Passing off action? Refer to relevant judicial decisions.
