Adjectives
Adjectives are words that describe a person, a thing, or a
place in the sentence. They tell something about the noun.
Adjectives might tell how a thing looks, feels, tastes, smells, or
sounds. They might also show how big something is, or what
someone thinks of it.
Adjectives usually answer the questions:
-What kind? Sami attended the great concert.
The adjective great modifies the noun concert.
-What color? Sara wears her yellow dress.
The adjective yellow modifies the noun dress.
-How many? I ate three apples.
The adjective three modifies the noun apples.
-Which one? Hadi likes this pillow.
The adjective this modifies the noun pillow.
