RE E 1_ 2.

-RESPONSIBILITY-OF-THE-CHRISTIAN BEFORE THE WORLD

“In the same way, there is joy in the presence of God’s angels when even one sinner repents.”
Luke 15:10

Man was created by Him, and despite having fallen.

He was the object of God’s redemption.

Concern for humanity, however is a basic requirement for every servant of the Lord. This
means that we are to develop an interest in not just a few special individuals, but rather in
all.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him
will not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

John 3:16

“For even I, the Son of Man, came here not to be served but to serve others, and to give my life
as a ransom for many.” Mark 10:45

This willingness to serve even extended to giving His life to rescue man, and although the
price was high, Jesus didn't resist the Father's will.
It is impossible for someone who has a genuine knowledge of the Lord to not appreciate and
love others.

If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them gets lost, what will he do? Won’t he leave the
ninety-nine others in the wilderness and go to search for the one that is lost until he finds
it? Luke 15: 4

nga kini iyang makit-an. Luke 15:4

Or suppose a woman has ten silver coins and loses one. Doesn’t she light a lamp, sweep the
house and search carefully until she finds it? 9 And when she finds it, she calls her friends and
neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost coin.’ Luke 15:8-9

kawad-an ug usa, unsa may iyang buhaton?
balay ug iya gayod kining pangitaon hangtod nga makit-an. 9 Ug sa makit-an na niya kini,
Luke 15:8-9

So he got up and went to his father. “But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him
and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and
kissed him. Luke 15:20

Naluoy
siya sa iyang anak ug midagan aron pagtagbo kaniya ug unya migakos ug mihalok kaniya.
Luke 15:20
The Lord was willing to give his life to satisfy the need of even one soul. He didn't have to
have millions in need to initiate the work. Only one soul was enough to propel Him to the
cross.

No doctor avoids his patients, and no teacher avoids his students. It is contradictory to say
that we are servants and preachers of the Gospel, but yet be unwillingly to have contact
with lost humanity.
RE E 1- 3.-EMOTIONAL-HEALING

Romans 12:2

2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new
person by changing the way you think. Then you will know what God wants you to do, and
you will know how good and pleasing and perfect His will really is.”

kabubut-on sa Dios—unsay maayo, hingpit ug makapahimuot kaniya.”

God wants to enlarge His work on earth. He wants to use us in His service, but many times
we are limited by unresolved issues of the past.

Too many unhealed wounds, as well as present worries, cause us to live in a state of crisis,
controlled by emotional hurts.

Two options regarding the way we think

1. We can accept the thoughts of God and believe what He says in His Word”

“For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways and my thoughts higher
than your thoughts”

2. We can refuse God’s thoughts and continue living with our way of thinking, which
leads to doubt and unbelief. If we want to carry out God’s vision, however, there really is no
choice.

“We will choose to accept His thoughts and ways and will let Him renew our minds
according to His word.

No one can carry out the vision of God unless he first believes in what God can do through
Him.
To be effective in the vision

We must conquer ourselves

We should be teachable, sensitive to the Holy Spirit, and quick to repent, providing an
example for those under us.

The sin of those in leadership are probably not the obvious ones, such as fornication, drug
addiction, or alcoholism, but they are usually hidden sins, such as doubt, fear, envy,
condemnation, competition, complaining and gossiping. (Keep in mind that not only he who
speaks gossip but also he who listens to gossip is guilty of sin.)

When offended, we become bitter and even use Bible verses to justify ourselves.

We find ourselves thinking, “There is no one to help me. No one can counsel me.” This
causes us to pretend, to lie, and to live cautiously so that no one will know our sin and
secrets

We think that if we ask for help we will lose our image or our anointing. But the real truth is
that if we don’t recognize the need for someone to help us, we will remain alone, captive in
SIN.

. * Taking care of souls is the greatest profession on earth, and it is the profession of all.

We can give to others only what we have. We cannot give that which we have not received.

We have to allow God to work in our hearts to make us into able leaders.

Abraham, Moses, David, Gideon, and a host of others-all of them let God have His way in
their hearts and were transformed into men of gentle humility. That is what we must
happen in our hearts, too.

The problem isn’t on the outside of us, but rather on the inside. It is deep within where we
find the past that gets in the way of our present and our future.

The past build internal barriers that destroy all that we desire to do for the Kingdom of God.

Right now, if you want your heart to be healed

• be honest

• open up your heart to God, and

• reveal the wounds that are there.

Remember

He came to heal the brokenhearted

RE E 1_ 4.-SELF-IMAGE-AND-SELF-ESTEEM

( KEYS TO PERSONAL SUCCESS)

Proverbs 23:7(NKJV)

For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. “Eat and drink!” he says to you, But his heart is not
with you.

Self - image could be defined as the image that you have for yourself. It is how you see
yourself before others.

Faulty self-image often stems from a failure in infancy to receive

one of four basic needs:

a- Love - the desire to love and be loved and to receive tangible expression of love.

b- ACCEPTANCE - the desire to be accepted, not for what you have or do, but for who you
are

c- Protection - the need to feel safe and secure under the care of a father and a mother.

d- Forgiveness -the need to receive forgiveness and to be able to forgive

When these four basic needs LOVE, ACCEPTANCE, PROTECTION, FORGIVENESS have not
been met, a bad image and low self-esteem result, producing two negative reactions:

1- TIMIDITY

2- REBELLION

When a poor self-image is motivating you, you are always searching for acceptance and
begging for love in an attitude of false humility.
You feel useless and your values seem worthless.

GOD created you to have a perfect self-image.

GOD created you perfect in His image and in His likeness

Your hands shaped me and made me. -Job 10: 8a (NIV)

Mga kamot mo ang nag-umol kanako. -Job 10: 8a (RCPV)

YOU ARE OF SUCH VALUE TO GOD THAT HE SENT JESUS TO DIE FOR YOU

So God did what the law could not do. He sent his own Son in a body like the bodies we
sinners have. And in that body God declared an end to sin’s control over us by giving his Son
as a sacrifice for our sins.

-Romans 8:3b

You are as important piece in the “Jigsaw Puzzle" of God. If you didn't exist , the puzzle
wouldn’t be complete.

The most important thing isn't what everyone else thinks about you, but what you think
about yourself.

Main areas when dealing with problems in self-esteem and self-image:

SELF-REALIZATION - The Word of GOD gives the perfect standard. Only Jesus can give a
woman or man real values as they learn who they are in Him.

SELF-CONCEPT - With a healthy self-concept, you are able to recognize that you have faults,
but you know that God can use you anyway.
You have to recognize that you have something to contribute.

Don't make the mistake of comparing yourself to others because God made no two people
the same.

You have to recognize that you have something to contribute.

Don't make the mistake of comparing yourself to others because God made no two people
the same.

Main areas when dealing with problems in self-esteem and self-image:

SELF-ACCEPTANCE - You are valuable to God for who you are, not for what you do or for
what you have.

God just made you just the way He wanted you.

This is the most He loves you no matter what you look like.

Everything about you is perfect in the hands of God, and only there can you fulfill the
purpose which you were created beautiful thing in the world:

You are designed for your own unique purpose in God's plan.

THE BEAUTY THAT THE WORLD RECOGNIZES IS PHYSICAL, AND EVEN LUSTFUL
SOMETIMES.

THE BEAUTY THAT GOD RECOGNIZES, HOWEVER, IS INWARD, AND IT IS A BEAUTY

OF THE HEART.

YOU CAN HAVE A HEALTHY SELF-IMAGE WHEN YOU REALIZE THAT CHRIST WON
THAT FOR YOU ON THE CROSS OF CALVARY. IT IS YOURS AS A SON OR DAUGHTER OF
GOD.

- I am the light of the world!

- I am the salt of the earth!

- I am more than a conqueror!

- I am a spiritual fireball!

- I will conquer the entire world

with the help of God!

RE E 1_ 5.-CONQUERING-EVERY-AREA-BY-SPIRITUAL-WARFARE

Matthew 16:18

"Now I say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church, and all the
powers of hell will not conquer it."

Matthew 16:18

The Lord Jesus Christ made a few things clear about His church:

1. He's going to build His church

2. An enemy exists that opposes this work

3. The enemy will be crushed by the church

When we move into spiritual warfare, we are confronting strongholds that must be
defeated. Strongholds are places, thoughts, or philosophies that the devil erects in a person,
institution, or nation to glorify himself, to hinder God's light, and to thwart the plan of God.

What we see in the physical realm is a direct consequence of what is happening in the
spiritual realm.

3 Main Levels of Spiritual Activity:

1. Worldly Level

This is seen in the physical realm in the area of personal strongholds.

Ephesians 6:11

"Put on all of God's armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies and
tricks of the Devil."

Efeso 6:11

One of Satan's favorite weapons is deception. Through this sin, he leads people astray,
bringing curses not only to their lives, but also to the generations that follow them.

Demonic spirits that attack on the Worldly level

Hosea 4:12 - Spirit of Whoredom

- Fornication

- prostitution

- harlotry

Numbers 5:14 - Spirit of Jealousy

- envy, wrath

- violence, anger

- murder

Hosea 4:12

"My people consult a wooden idol, and a diviner’s rod speaks to them.

A spirit of prostitution leads them astray; they are unfaithful to their God."

Hosea 4:12

Numbers 5:14
"and if feelings of jealousy come over her husband and he suspects his wife and she is
impure or if he is jealous and suspects her even though she is not impure"

Numbers 5:14

Demonic spirits that attack on the worldly level

Romans 8:15 - Spirit of Bondage that enslaves to every bad attitude.

Romans 8:15

"The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the
Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry,
“Abba,Father.”

Romans 8:15

2. Geopolitical Level

Spirits on this level attack in the political realm.

Demonic strongholds rule the nations through the nation's sin, often committed in secret
and exercised through cultural traditions.

When a country is influenced by demons on the geopolitical level, we find abortion

legalized, marriage among homosexuals recognized, and sexual behaviour accepted.

The primary work of Satan among the nations is idolatry. If idolatry is present in a nation,
eventually it will fall into other sins, such as occult activity, violence, sexual immorality, and
even human sacrifice.
Psalms 135: 15-18

"The idols of the nations are silver and gold, made by human hands. 16 They have mouths,
but cannot speak, eyes, but cannot see. 17 They have ears, but cannot hear, nor is there
breath in their mouths. 18 Those who make them will be like them, and so will all who trust
in them."

Psalms 135: 15-18

tawo.

To identify the geopolitical strongholds of a nation, we might want to do a spiritual

mapping.

Once we identify the root, however, we can cancel the curse and crush the demonic powers.

Daniel 9:5

“We have sinned and done wrong. We have been wicked and have rebelled; we have turned
away from your commands and laws.”

Daniel 9:5

Daniel 9:11-16

All Israel has transgressed your law and turned away, refusing to obey you.“Therefore the
curses and sworn judgments written in the Law of Moses, the servant of God, have been
poured out on us, because we have sinned against you. 12 You have fulfilled the words
spoken against us and against our rulers by bringing on us great disaster. Under the whole
heaven nothing has ever been done like what has been done to Jerusalem. 13 Just as it is
written in the Law of Moses, all this disaster has come on us, yet we have not sought the
favor of the Lord our God by turning from our sins and giving attention to your
truth. 14 The Lord did not hesitate to bring the disaster on us, for the Lord our God is
righteous in everything he does; yet we have not obeyed him. 15 “Now, Lord our God, who
brought your people out of Egypt with a mighty hand and who made for yourself a name
that endures to this day, we have sinned, we have done wrong. 16 Lord, in keeping with all
your righteous acts, turn away your anger and your wrath from Jerusalem, your city, your
holy hill. Our sins and the iniquities of our ancestors have made Jerusalem and your people
an object of scorn to all those around us.

Daniel 9:11-16

katalagman apan bisan pa niana wala kami magpakiluoy kanimo, O Ginoo nga among Dios,
15 “O Ginoo nga among Dios, ikaw ang

3. Spiritual Level

- Ideological Strongholds

Demons that Satan has loosed against the church to try to stop its growth and to discredit
the name of God.

1 Timothy 4:1-2

The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving
spirits and things taught by demons. 2 Such teachings come through hypocritical liars,
whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron.

1 Timothy 4:1-2

Demonic strongholds within the church attempt to destroy the unity of the body of Christ.

If they are successful in their evil work, they deter growth and cause desertion among the
army of God.

7 Strongholds that are often present in churches:

1. Murmuring: Numbers 12

"While they were at Hazeroth, Miriam and Aaron criticized Moses because he had married a
Cushite Woman.“

- Numbers 12:1

gipangasawa.

- Numbers 12:1

To murmur is to speak against someone, especially a leader that God has put over us to give
us direction. All servants of God have flaws, but instead of speaking against them, we should
pray for them.

“The Lord was furious with them [Miriam and Aaron] and he departed.”

- Numbers 12:9

Their complaining against the servant of God unleashed his anger and wrath against them.

2. Rebellion: Numbers 16
"Korah, Dathan and Abiram, prominent leaders of Israel. Jealous of special relationship
Moses had with God, these three men rose up against Moses and together with 250 other
men of renown rebelled against Moses' God-ordained leadership.“ - Numbers 16:1-2

Never join with a rebel, as this will bring spiritual death to you. Rebellion is a contagious
virus, and this is even true when it originates from a group of leaders.

3. Disobedience: Leviticus 10

Disobedience is doing things that no one has authorized you to do or taking credit that
doesn't belong to you. If your leader does things that you don't understand, just be obedient
because he is God's delegated authority over you.

4. Secret Sin: Joshua 7

The natural impulse of every person who falls into sin is to hide. Hidden, unconfessed sin,
however, will lead us rapidly downfall.

"When I saw in the plunder a beautiful robe from Babylonia, two hundred shekels of silver
and a bar of gold weighing fifty shekels, I coveted them and took them. They are hidden in
the ground inside my tent, with the silver underneath.” - Joshua 7:21

- Joshua 7:21

“When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and
also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her
husband, who was with her, and he ate it.”

-Genesis 3:6

bunga niini ug makapahimo kaniyang maalamon, mikuha siyag bunga ug gikaon niya kini.
- Genesis 3:6

Secret brings turmoil and defeat. There is nothing that hurts a twelve group more than
secret sin. It hinders the growth of the entire group.
5. Emotional Confusion: Judges 14-16

Samson was never consistent in doing the will of God because he never made a firm
commitment to it. He was always vacillating between his desires and God's will.

If we don't make up out our minds ahead of time that we are going to serve God no matter
what and live a life pleasing to Him, we will live in emotional confusion.

6. Control and Manipulation: 1 Kings 18:4, 19:2

While Jezebel was killing off the LORD's prophets, Obadiah had taken a hundred prophets
and hidden them in two caves, fifty in each, and had supplied them with food and water. - 1
Kings 18:4

Kings 18:4

So Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah to say, "May the gods deal with me, be it ever so
severely, if by this time tomorrow I do not make your life like that of one of them. - 1 Kings
19:2

- 1 Kings 19:2

Those who are under the influence of a spirit of control and manipulation want to impose
their will against proper authority. They don't like to submit to anyone, and on the contrary,
they want to take things by force.

“And also concerning Jezebel the Lord says: ‘Dogs will devour Jezebel by the wall of Jezreel.’

- 1 Kings 21:23

- 1 Kings21:23

7. Deception and Hypocrisy: 2 Samuel 15-16

The most dangerous people in the church are those who seemingly work hard, perhaps
behind the scenes, but who are really looking to get rid of leadership for which they never
have (really) worked. These people seek leadership not for the purpose of serving but for
their own glory.

These people promote division by speaking bad things about their leaders. Then try to make
themselves "big" always seeking to make a name for themselves and to promote their
agendas.

2 Main Strategies of Satan

1. He constantly tempts us through our desires and passions to sin against God.

2. He attempts to get us to believe that we are "God".

2 Main Strategies of Satan

Since he doesn't worship God, he doesn't want anyone else too. He worships only himself,
and he will try to get us to do the same.

1. We must actively, aggressively come against him and all his attempts to influence us.

2. We must release the shout of victory (Joshua 6:20) to demolish every "wall" he tries to
build in our lives.

Our strategy against Satan:

“When the trumpets sounded, the army shouted, and at the sound of the trumpet, when the
men gave a loud shout, the wall collapsed; so everyone charged straight in, and they took the
city.” - Joshua 6:20

3. We must bind the power of the enemy

“Or again, how can anyone enter a strong man’s house and carry off his possessions unless he
first ties up the strong man? Then he can plunder his house.”

- Matthew 12:29

- Matthew 12:29

4. We must remain strong in battle by keeping our joy.

ug imna ninyo ang tam-is nga bino ug padad-i ninyog diyutayng bahin kadtong walay
- Nehemiah 8:10

5. We must close the doors to the enemy

1. We must actively, aggressively come against him and all his attempts to influence us.

2. We must release the about of victory (Joshua 6:20) to demolish every "wall" he tries to
build in our lives.

3. We must bind the power of the enemy

4. We must remain strong in battle by keeping our joy.

5. We must close the doors to the enemy

“Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and
live there. And the final condition of that person is worse than the first. That is how it will be
with this wicked generation.”

- Matthew 12:45

kaniya ug manulod sila ug mopuyo didto. Busa, sa kataposan, kadtong tawhana molabaw pa
kadaotan kay sa sinugdan. Mao usab unya kini ang dangatan niining daotang katawhan.”

- Matthew 12:45

Spiritual Weapons:

1. The name of Jesus (Phil. 2:10-11)

Jesus triumphed on the cross of Calvary and conquered all satanic power.
Satan not only the name of Jesus, but he also knows the great power that is ours by using
this name.

“that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

- Philippians 2:10-11

– Philippians 2:10-11

2. The Blood of Christ (Rev. 12:11)

The enemy makes many people think that the blood of Christ is no more than a symbol of
the pain and suffering of Jesus, on the cross. He tries to sell us this idea since he knows that
nothing can resist the blood of Jesus.

“They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they
did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.” - Revelation 12:11

- Revelation 12:11

3. Praise (Psalms 8:2)

Praise does three things.

(1) It glorifies God.

(2) It encourages the believer to conquer and be victorious, and

(3) it makes the enemy flee.

“Through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your
enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger.”
- Psalms 8:2

nga giawit sa mga masuso ug kabataan.Gipabarog mo ang imong gahom ug gisanta ug

gibuntog mo ang imong mga kaaway.

– Psalms 8:2

4. Declaring the Word (Matt. 4:4)

When Jesus was confronted by the devil, he countered with the Word of God.

The Word of God has an inherent power within it, and it will destroy every argument that
Satan pronounces against us.

1. The Name of Jesus (Phil. 2:10-11)

2. The Blood of Christ (Rev. 12:11)

3. Praise (Psalms 8:2)

4. Declaring the Word (Matt. 4:4)

RE E 2_ 1.-DAILY-DEVOTIONAL (Dying to Self)

- Galatians 2:20

“I myself no longer live, but Christ lives in me. So I my life in this earthly body by trusting in the
Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”

-Galacia 2:20 (RCPV)

kinabuhi alang kanako.”

SELF means

• The consciousness of being with the capacity of decision.

• Represented by our free will and what we decide to do with it.

• Egotistical and centered on “only me,” “everything for me,” and “me” first.

• It is irritable, envious, resistant, critical, proud, arrogant, discontented and anxious.

The only way to be victorious over self is to be BROKEN.

As LEADERS, we can’t just put up a front and pretend to be something we’re not. When
Jesus Christ comes into our heart, he breaks us of self. Then we can show his character in all
that we do.

Andrew Murray said, "Just like water always seeks to fill the lowest places, so also the
moments that God finds us humble and empty. He fills us with His glory and power."

All we have to do is present ourselves empty and broken before him and then let him fill us
and keep us.
Galatians 5:22-23 (NLT)

22 But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience,
kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against
these things!

Galacia 5:22-23 (APSD)

RE E 2_ 2.-THE-ORIGIN-OF-THE-KINGDOM-OF-DARKNESS

Isaiah 14:12-15 (NLT)

12“How you are fallen from heaven, O shining star, son of the morning! You have been
thrown down to the earth, you who destroyed the nations of the world. 13 For you said to
yourself, ‘I will ascend to heaven and set my throne above God’s stars. I will preside on the
mountain of the gods far away in the north.14 I will climb to the highest heavens and be like
the Most High.’ 15 Instead, you will be brought down to the place of the dead, down to its
lowest depths.

Satan means

• "the adversary of God" and "lord of evil".

• He is also called the enemy of our soul, the devil, the prince of darkness and accuser.

• the author of everything bad that afflicts the human race.

• He and his demonic powers do everything within their ability to destroy man.

Romans 16:20 (NIV)

“20 The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be
with you.”

Roma 16:20 (RCPV)

Genesis 1:26 (NIV)

26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule
over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals,
and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

Genesis 1:26 (RCPV)

mananap.”
Their tactics against him include the following:

• To accuse

• To afflict

• To condemn

• To bring sickness

• To oppose

• To torment

• To ridicule

• To oppress

• To control

• To kill

Satan was cast from Heaven, his intent was to lead man astray from the purposes of GOD.

We see a clear example in Genesis 3:1-24 with the story of Adam and Eve.

Satan's intent was to cause Adam and Eve to fall and from then on to control their
descendants.

Jude 1:6 (NLT)

“And I remind you of the angels who did not stay within the limits of authority God gave them
but left the place where they belonged. God has kept them securely chained in prisons of
darkness, waiting for the great day of judgment.”

Judas 1:6 (RCPV)

According to Ephesians 6, the levels in the devil's hierarchy are as follows.

1. PRINCIPALITIES

• This refers to the spiritual powers of the invisible world.

• To rule over a defined territory or jurisdiction. (e.g. nation, department,

neighborhood).

• They act in their specific territory.

2. POWERS

• In the Greek word for this is exousia. It means delegated authority or power.

• These spirit are located to specific places, such as in families.

• Example: some families have a pattern of specific sickness that afflicts many of their
members.

3. GOVERNORS

These are set up in institutions. To fight them we must discern their specific names.

Example: some families are plagued by wrath, violence, infidelity, etc.

4. SPIRITUAL HOSTS

These spirits set themselves up in people.

Example: vices, alcoholism, rebellion and rejection, among other things, afflict many
individuals.
RE E 2_ 3.-THE-ARMOR-OF-GOD

PUT ON THE FULL ARMOR OF GOD

Ephesians 6:11-16 (NIV)

11 Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's
schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against
the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil
in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of
evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to
stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the
breastplate of righteousness in place, 15and with your feet fitted with the readiness that
comes from the gospel of peace. 16In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with
which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

On the cross, Christ was totally victorious over Satan.

By His death, He gave us the tools needed to wage war against hell.

1- THE SPIRITUAL ARMOR

The Belt of Truth

With this belt, all armor is hold firmly to the body

The term belt of truth refers to God, because He is the way, the truth, and the life.

2- The Breastplate of Righteousness

bulletproof vestdesigned to protect the chest

The term righteousness is mentioned in the armor of GOD as the tool that keeps us holy and
separated from sin

3- The Shoes for the preparation of the Gospel

- readiness for going out makes us walk in a

- manner worthy of our calling and contrary to what Satan wants

4- The Shield of Faith

Two types of shield

one small and round: used for man-to-man combat

large and long: designed to cover the entire body when attacked

The shields were always kept wet so that they could put out any darts that were fired.
Our faith quenches any dart the enemy throws at us.

5- The Helmet of Salvation

- represents the security in knowing that we are saved

- protects us from the attacks that come to our minds

With the helmet of salvation in place, we can differentiate between the thoughts that come
from God, which are thoughts of peace, love, and goodness and the thoughts of the enemy,
which are the thoughts of depression, anxiety and evil

Demons are constantly at work to harass and distract people.

6- The Principal areas in which demons operate:

The Emotions and Attitudes:

- Demons make people feel miserable, weak, and incompetent, with the objective of leading
them into depression and even to suicide.

The Mind:

-There are many demons that attack the mind, such as skepticism, humanism, and every
class of philosophical thought.

The Tongue:

- can be influenced by many demons (lies, vulgar language, curses words)

The Sexual Area:

-Every form of sex that is not natural is demonic (homosexuality, fornication, adultery, lust)

The Occult:

- When a person listens to a psychic, he gives control of his life and destiny to Satan.

Once demons gain a foothold in a believer’s life, they will compromise his ability to be an
effective leader.

When a person in ministry is in bondage, some of the following traits might be seen:

Unfaithfulness (neglecting the ministry)

Pride

Pride goes before destruction , and haughtiness before a fall.

- Proverbs16:18

Failure
Jealousy

for you are still controlled by your sinful nature. You are jealous of one another and quarrel
with each other. Doesn’t that prove you are controlled by your sinful nature? Aren’t you
living like people of the world?

1 Corinthians 3:3

Anxiety

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with
thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”

Philippians 4:6

Inability to understand, bad memory

Spirit of sleep (when reading the Bible or praying)

10 For the Lord has poured out on you a spirit of deep sleep. He has closed the eyes of your
prophets and visionaries. 11 All the future events in this vision are like a sealed book to them.
When you give it to those who can read, they will say, “We can’t read it because it is sealed.” -
Isaiah 29:10-11

Steps to break every curse over your life:

Ask for cleansing by the blood of Christ.

Denounce, cancel, and destroy secret acts that were performed against you (Col. 2:14-15)

Renounce every evil spiritual influence that has entered your life.

In a loud voice, declare every one of the blessings in Deuteronomy 28: 1-15 over your life.

Deuteronomy 28:1-15 (NIV)

1 If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today,
the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. 2 All these blessings will
come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God: 3 You will be blessed in the
city and blessed in the country. 4 The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of
your land and the young of your livestock—the calves of your herds and the lambs of your
flocks. 5 Your basket and your kneading trough will be blessed. 6 You will be blessed when
you come in and blessed when you go out. 7 The Lord will grant that the enemies who rise
up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but
flee from you in seven. 8 The Lord will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you
put your hand to. The Lord your God will bless you in the land he is giving you.
9 The Lord will establish you as his holy people, as he promised you on oath, if you keep the
commands of the Lord your God and walk in obedience to him. 10 Then all the peoples on
earth will see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they will fear
you. 11 The Lord will grant you abundant prosperity—in the fruit of your womb, the young
of your livestock and the crops of your ground—in the land he swore to your ancestors to
give you. 12 The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on
your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations
but will borrow from none. 13 The Lord will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay
attention to the commands of the Lord your God that I give you this day and carefully
follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom. 14 Do not turn aside from
any of the commands I give you today, to the right or to the left, following other gods and
serving them. 15 However, if you do not obey the Lord your God and do not carefully follow
all his commands and decrees I am giving you today, all these curses will come on you and
overtake you:

THE SPIRITUAL ARMOR

A. The Belt of Truth

B. The Breastplate of Righteousness

C. The Shoes of the Gospel

D. The Shield of Faith.

E. The Helmet of Salvation

Conclusion

The Word of God reveals to us that there is an enemy that surrounds us to destroy us.
However, the Word says that at the Cross, Jesus conquered our victory for us.

Application
In the Scriptures, we find the strategy to overcome the enemy and to maintain ourselves in
victory based on clothing ourselves with the Spiritual Armor for both attacking and
defending.

CONFESSION: APPLYING THE BLOOD OF JESUS

EVERYDAY CONFESSION

“By the blood of Jesus, I have been redeemed! I have been rescued from the power of the enemy.
Satan has no power over my life. I have been set free from his domain and translated to the
kingdom of Jesus Christ!” “Because I walk in the light, the blood of Jesus Christ is cleansing me
right now and continuously of all sin and all wickedness. By the blood of Jesus, I have been
justified and God sees me as if I have never sinned.” “Lord Jesus, thank you for your blood
because now it testifies on my behalf.

It rebukes the dragon, the old serpent, demons, the forces of wickedness, the blood of Jesus
itself rebuke sickness, rebukes oppression, it rebukes the curse, it rebukes anguish And the
evil is cast out of my home… of my ministry, out of my finances… out of my life…Out of my
family… now the power of Jesus Christ lives within me!”
RE E 2_ 4.-HOW-TO-IDENTIFY-BONDAGES

2 Corinthians 2:11

For we are very familiar with his [Satan’s] evil schemes.”

The intent and desire of the enemy is to blind our minds (2 Cor. 4:3-6)

3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. 4 The god of this
age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that
displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 5. For what we preach is not
ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake.2 Cor.4:3-
6

5Wala kami nagawali mahitungod sa among
Nagaalagad kami
kaninyo tungod ug alang kang Jesus.
2 Cor. 4:3-6

He actively works to keep the lost from grasping the simple truth of the Gospel and wants to
lead Christians astray from walking in God’s light.

Whether we realize it or not, we are engaged in a deadly spiritual war with the forces of
darkness.

The battleground is our mind, will, and emotions (2 Cor.10:4-5)

4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have
divine power to demolish strongholds. 5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that
sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it
obedient to Christ. 2 Cor.10:4-5

2 Cor. 10:4-5

The word renewed can be translated to mean “to reverse the effect or cause of something,’
or “to reform”.

Our minds need renewing from all the “garbage” we have taken in over the years.

Whatever dominates a person’s mind will dictate the decisions of his will (Rom.12:2-3)

2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your
mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and
perfect will. 3 For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself
more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance
with the faith God has distributed to each of you. Rom.12:2-3

We must have our minds renewed in order to avoid being spoiled by the philosophy of the
world (Col.2:8)
8 See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which
depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on
Christ. Col. 2:8

ug malimbongon nga mga pagtulon-an. Kini nga mga pagtulon-an dili gikan kang Cristo
Col. 2:8

The word spoil literally means “to be led away as booty.”

The word of God instructs us in Ephesians 4:27 NKJV that we are to give no place to the
enemy in our lives.

27 and do not give the devil a foothold.

Ephe. 4:27

To give place to something means “to give a room to or “to give quarters”.

We can give place to Jesus (Rev.3:20-21), or we can give place to the devil in our lives.

THE CHOICE IS YOURS.

We can give place by opening doors of admittance in our lives. If we open the door of
humility and submission, Jesus moves in.

If we open other doors, the enemy moves in.

List of the doors through which the devil many times gains entrance into our lives

• The door of disobedience (DEUT. 28:15)

• The door of unforgiveness (Matt.18:21-35)

• The door of inner vows (Matt.5:33)

Mateo

• The door of rejection (Isa.54:6-8, Prov. 18:14)

Isaias

• The door of rebellion (Acts.5:3)

The door of disobedience

"But if you refuse to listen to the LORD your God and do not obey all the commands and
decrees I am giving you today, all these curses will come and overwhelm you: Deuteronomy
28:15

The door of unforgiveness

Ngano bang
wala mo kaloy-i ang imong isigka-sulugoon ingon nga ako nalooy kanimo?’ Nasuko gayod ang
hari kaniya. Gipapriso niya kini aron nga masilotan hangtod mabayran ang tanan niyang
utang.”
Mateo

The door of inner vows

"You have also heard that our ancestors were told, 'You must not break your vows; you
must carry out the vows you make to the Lord.'

-Matthew 5:33

Mateo

The door of rejection

6 For the LORD has called you back from your grief- as though you were a young wife
abandoned by her husband," says your God. 7 "For a brief moment I abandoned you, but with
great compassion I will take you back. 8 In a burst of anger I turned my face away for a little
while. But with everlasting love I will have compassion on you," says the LORD, your Redeemer.
-Isaiah 54:6-8

gugma, kaloy-an ko ikaw. Ako, ang Ginoo nga imong Manluluwas, ang nagaingon niini.”
Isaias

The human spirit can endure a sick body, but who can bear a crushed spirit?

-Proverbs 18:14
Panultihon

The door of rebellion

Then Peter said, "Ananias, why have you let Satan fill your heart? You lied to the Holy Spirit,
and you kept some of the money for yourself.

-Acts 5:3

When we open the doors to demonic influence in our lives, the devil begins weaving his web
of deception and rejection.

A person suffering from rejection has a sense of being unwanted.

He desires love, but doesn’t believe anyone could really care about him or love him.

He feels left out and has no sense of belonging.

He has difficulty in both giving and receiving love.

FIVE WAYS THE ROOT OF REJECTION IS EXHIBITED IN A PASSIVE WAY:

1. LUST- The person tries to fulfill the need for love through the lust of the flesh.

2. INSECURITY AND INFERIORITY- the person feels unworthy and shameful

3. FALSE COMPASSION AND FALSE RESPONSIBILITY- this is manifested by the person

siding with backsliders, having misplaced loyalty, overdoing work at the expense of family,
or trying to gain self-worth through service.

4. PARANOIA- the person consistently is suspicious of others and accuses them. He is a

jealous person, envious of the success of others and threatened by them.

5. WITHDRAWAL- this is characterized by depression, daydreaming, fantasizing, despair,

despondency, and suicidal tendencies,

Sometimes rejection is manifested in a more outward form. It is usually seen as some form
of rebellion and is characterized by the following traits and statements:
1. STUBBORNNESS AND SELF-WILL- “I won’t” “Nobody can make me

2. INDIFFERENCE- “I don’t care” “I’ve been wounded enough.”

3. DISTRUST AND CONFRONTATION- “I don’t believe them.” “I’ll give them a piece of my
mind!”

4. CONTROL AND POSSESSIVENESS- “We’re going to do things my way”

5. BITTERNESS- “I can never forget what they did to me!”

6. DECEPTION- “I can’t remember.” “I don’t know.” (But really, they do)

7. ABNORMAL FEARS- “I’m afraid I’m going to get cancer.”

RE E 2_ 5. WHAT CHRIST DID FOR ME

6 For a child is born to us, a son is given to us.

And the government will rest on his shoulders.

These will be his royal titles: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince
of Peace.

7 His ever expanding, peaceful government will never end. He will rule forever with fairness
and justice from the throne of his ancestor David. The passionate commitment of the Lord
Almighty will guarantee this!" Isaiah 9:6-7

Isaias
9:6-7

If we don't understand the purpose for which God sent His Son, we will miss the whole
point of Christianity.

16 "So we have stopped evaluating others by what the world thinks about them. Once I
mistakenly thought of Christ that way, as though he were merely a human being. How
differently I think about him now!" 2 Corinthians 5:16

Corinto 5:16

KINAHANGLAN IMO PA GYOD NGA MASABTAN KONG UNSA ANG IYANG GIPAABOT
GIKAN SA IMOHA TUNGOD SA IYANG KAMATAYON.

You've got to understand what He acquired for you by His death.

IMO PA GYOD NGA GIKINAHANGLAN MASAYRAN PAG- AYO, NGA GIGUBA, UG GIPILDI
NIYA ANG DEMONIO HANGTUD SA KAHANGTURAN, UG GIHIMO KANG BAG-ONG
BINUHAT, DUNA KANAY KINABUHING WALAY KATAPUSAN, UG BAG- ONG KINAIYA.

You've got to know that He ruined the devil forever and made you a new creation, with a
new life and a new nature.

This is the purpose of God's having sent His Son into the world.

God became flesh in the person of Jesus.

He burst into our world in a human form so that you and I could see Him and touch Him.

God, who is spirit, came to give testimony to our five natural senses so that we could
understand that God is real and would thus have no excuse for not following Him.

There is one place and only one place where you can find the provision of God and the
solution for your problem! That place is the cross of Calvary!

It is through the cross and only through the cross that you can come to God for your
provision and blessing.

When Jesus died,a divine exchange occurred

The cross is the absolute focal points of all that God has to offer us.

All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the
Lord laid on him the sins of us all. Isaiah 53:6 (NLT)

Apan
siyay gidakdakan sa Ginoo sa tanan tang kasal-anan.Isaiss 53:6
In Jesus, God carried the sin of us all.

The word sin can be translated "rebellion.“

The rebellion of the whole Adamic race, cursed by sin, fell on Jesus by divine direction. This
is the negative part of the exchange.

The positive aspect of the divine exchange is that everything good belonged to Jesus can
now be ours because of His perfect obedience.

God put on Jesus everything bad that we deserved so that we could receive all the good that
He possessed.

This is the exchange that took place on the cross the "bad" falling upon Jesus so that the
"good" could be offered to us.

Divine exchange transacted on the cross

1. Jesus was punished so that we could be forgiven

"He is so rich in kindness that he purchased our freedom through the blood of his Son and
our sins are forgiven." Ephesians 1:7 (NLT)

Efeso 1:7

2. Jesus was wounded so that we could be healed.

Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him down. And we
thought his troubles were a punishment from God, for his own sins! Isaiah 53:4 ( NLT)

Scientists have shown that there are thirty-nine major types of diseases and all other
diseases are merely variations of these thirty nine. It is not by coincidence that Jesus
received thirty-nine whip lashes. This tells us that all diseases, all pain, no matter the
variation, the symptoms or how serious they may be, were cancelled by the stripes inflicted
on Jesus’ back. (Isa. 53:5)

Gani gisamaran siya tungod sa atong mga sala; napangos siya tungod sa atong pagkadaotan;

3- He tasted our death so that we could have life.

14Because God’s children are human beings—made of flesh and blood—Jesus also became
flesh and blood by being born in human form. For only as a human being could he die, and
only by dying could he break the power of the Devil, who had the power of death. 15 Only in
this way could he deliver those who have lived all their lives as slaves to the fear of dying.
Hebrew 2:14-15

Hebrew 2:14-15

4. He was made sin so that we could be made righteous:

For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be
made right with God through Christ. 2 Cor. 5:21 (NLT)

5- He suffered rejection so that we could be accepted:

So we praise God for the wonderful kindness he has poured out on us because we belong to
his dearly loved Son. Ephesians 1:6 (NLT)

Efeso 1:6

6- He was made poor so that we could be rich:

You know how full of love and kindness our Lord Jesus Christ was. Though he was very rich,
yet for your sakes he became poor, so that by his poverty he could make you rich. 2
Corinthians 8:9 (NLT)

Marcos

These are Jesus last words before He left this earth for heaven.

“Miingon siya kanila, “Panglakaw kamo ( going” is part of the gospel. This is what we refer to
as the Great Commission”.)sa tibuok kalibotan ug isangyaw kining Maayong Balita ngadto sa
tanang mga tawo.” Marcos

Commission: a formal written warrant granting the power to perform various acts or duties.
Authority to act for, in behalf of, or in place of another. Act of entrusting or giving authority.

We have been “ commissioned” by Jesus to carry the gospel message to the world.

Kadaghanan when we hear the “Prosperity Message” we get the idea that it is bigger homes,
larger cars ,designer cloths, etc.

God gives us the power to get wealth - in order to ESTABLISH HIS COVENANT!

But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth,
and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your forefathers, as it is
today. Deuteronomy 8:17-18 (NIV)

kamo mangadato ug niining paagiha gipamatud-an niya ang kasabotan nga iyang gihimo tali
kaniya ug sa inyong katigulangan.”

THE SPREAD OF THE GOSPEL IS THE ISSUE! Not my own kingdom!

Mark 16:7-17) God will prosper you personally in the process, but the issue here is the
spreading of the gospel.
7- He was made a curse so that we could be blessed:

"But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When he was hung on the
cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures,
'Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree'

Galatians 3:13 (NLT)

Galacia 3:13

atubangan aron sa pag-alagad kaniya ug aron mahimo nga iyang alagad ug sa pagsunog ug
insenso alang kaniya.”
Consecration of the Leaders

If we call ourselves Christians, it really doesn’t matter what we want to do or not to do.

Our lives are set apart for God’s purpose.

We will never be effective servants of the Lord if we still care about our own plans and
agendas.

We will be forever torn between our desires and His unless we consciously consecrate
ourselves to His divine purpose

We are called to PURIFY OUSELVES and LIVE CONSECRATED LIVES.

We are to purify our temples (cells and ministries), consecrating them to the serve of the
Lord. In both our private and public lives, we must REMOVE ALL DEFILED THINGS.

The reopening of the doors of the temple symbolizes for us the new vision that has been
restored to the church.

RE E 2_ 8. EXCELLENCE & ETHICS

"Then this Daniel distinguished himself above the governors and satraps, because an
excellent spirit was in him; and the king give thought to setting him over the whole realm"

Daniel 6:3
Several definitions dealing with Excellence:

1. Excellence: the superior quality or goodness that makes a thing worthy of exceptional
appreciation and esteem.

2. Excellent: that which stands out in merit, goodness, or value among other things of the
same type that are good

3. Excel: to be distinguished by superiority, to surpass others, to possess the quality of being

excellent.

5 Principles for Excellent Leadership in the Kingdom of God:

1. An excellent leader is focused on the vision, but ever mindful of the present

2. An excellent leader manages discouragement in a godly fashion

3. An excellent leader learns to

"fail forward", learning from his mistakes.

4. An excellent leader maintains flexibility and always moves towards the growth

5. An excellent leader gives commitment in order to receive commitment.

Ethics

could be defined as

"the discipline dealing with what is good and bad and with moral duty and obligation."

Principles of Ethical Leadership:

1. An ethical leadership maintains and develops godly character. The character of the leader
determines the character of the cell. An ethical leader of good character commits himself to
principle over personal gain, to people over things, to servant hood over lordship, and to the
long-term over the immediate. Consistent character builds solid trust.

2. An ethical leader maintains the practice of accountability. He not only exercises authority,
but he is also under authority. He willingly makes himself accountable to others.

3. An ethical leader maintains transparency and vulnerability. He does not hide himself
from his followers, wanting them to think he has no problems or struggles.
4. An ethical leader has learned to control his tongue. Leaders, whether they realize it or
not, disclose their character when they describe another person.

5. An ethical leader maintains proper priorities, with God above his personal agenda.

6. An ethical leader is not afraid to make a difficult decision, even at great

personal cost.

RE E 2_ 9. HOW TO HAVE A HEALTHY HEART

- Genesis 3:15
From now on, you and the woman will be enemies, and your offspring and her offspring will
be enemies. He will crush head, and you will strike his heel."

- Genesis 3:15 (RCPV)

Himoon kong magkaaway ikaw ug ang babaye; ug mahimong kaaway ang imong kaliwat ug
ang iyang kaliwat.Dugmokon niya ang imong uloug paakon mo usab ang iyang tikod.”

This passage reveals a basic spiritual truth.

God says that the devil has the power to wound, and this is what he always tries to do. He is
constantly working to inflict wounds to our souls, causing us untold pain and sorrow.

He knows that when we are wounded, we are incapable of doing the work of the Lord.

A wounded person is to emotionally crippled to see his future objectively.

When a person has been wounded in his soul, two thing happen:

1. He stays bound to the person who wounded Him.

2. He stays bound to the painful situation or experience.

There are many people who want to serve in the work of the Lord but can't because they are
so hurt and scarred by the past. Because of their hurt, they live in bondage, and because of
their bondage, their hurt others.

The people of Israel could not enter the promise Land because they possessed a distorted
image.

The devil seeks to destroy our image of our parents so that we won't be able to get close to
God.
God is our Father, He wants to heal us of the wrong image that we have of a father or
mother.

God wants to use us in His Kingdom, but to do so, He first Has to

Heal us.

So many people strive to do things well for the Lord, but they can't because they are still
wounded.

Psalms 126:1 says, "When the Lord restored his exiles to Jerusalem, it was like a dream!" No
captive can dream. God wants to deliver us from the world's system and from the slavery of
stress, bondage, and every demonic practice. He wants us free! Only then can entrust us
with multitudes.

God wants to deliver us from the world’s system and from the slavery of stress, bondage,
and every demonic practice. He wants us free!

God created us to dream. That's why God wants to restore our broken emotions.

When the Holy Spirit brings revival, the first thing that happens is that God starts to heal
our emotions and hope is recovered.

First we have to be restored, just like the exiles form Jerusalem had to be.

And the root of our need for restoration is the rejection we all too often suffer as children
and even as adults.

What is Rejection?

• lack of acceptance
Rejection controls the emotions and the heart; he heart that hinders our ability to relate to
others in a healthy fashion.

Rejection controls the emotions and the heart; the heart that hinders our ability to relate to
others in a healthy fashion.

Rejection is:

• not feeling wanted

• excluded

• without value

• not belonging and

• on the outside looking in.

Rejection is perhaps the deepest and most common wound that afflicts the human heart.

If we are unwilling to recognize the fact that we have experienced this negative emotion,
then we will never be able to resolve it. But if we confront it and accept God's remedy for it,
we can be set free of its influence in our lives.

2 THINGS PRODUCED BY REJECTION:

1. Shame

2. Humiliation

Especially in family relationships.

It is a shameful and humiliating experience to have given yourself to another person

without reservation, only to have them reject you. The wound caused is deep and
excruciatingly painful, and the spirit of a rejected person is sad, desolate, and broken.
The wound caused is deep and excruciatingly painful, and the spirit of a rejected person is
sad, desolate, and broken.

- Proverbs 18:14

The human spirit can endure a sick body, but who can bear it if the spirit crushed?

- Proverbs 18:14 (RCPV)

The wounds of the heart are difficult to define and to diagnose because they often reside on
a deeper level than the mind and memory.

Many people carry spiritual wounds that they don't even know they have. they have kept
them hidden as they accumulated over the years.

Common cause of rejection:

• Lack of love

God has created each person with an insatiable desire to love and be loved.

Every child that comes into this world is born with that desire for love. If love is not
expressed toward the child, that most basic need goes unfulfilled.

Although children need the love of both a father and a mother, the love of the Father is
particularly important. The love of a Father represents security.

3 Primary situations that can cause a feeling of rejection:

1. It can begin all the way back to conception. A child who is not wanted, even when that
thought is not expressed, can suffer rejection because of the mother’s attitude toward it
during pregnancy.

2. Cause of feeling rejected occurs when a child does not receive demonstrations of warm,
tender love from its parents. A child who isn’t hugged becomes a rejected child.

3. A child will suffer rejection if another child in the family is favored above the others.
