Peace-filled greetings!
I acknowledge receipt of your application for special monetization. The Office of
the Schools Division Superintendent has reviewed your application for Special
Monetization and finds no objection to its approval. However, I must refer the
matter to Tubod National High School, the school, where your plantilla which is
an implementing unit, to certify whether funds or savings are available to
support your application.
Admittingly, Joint Civil Service Commission and Department of Budget and
Management Circular No. 1 otherwise known as Rules and Regulations Governing
the Monetization of Leave Credits of Government Officials and Employees, Rule
V, Section 2 thereof provides that:
Section 2. Funding for the implementation of monetization of vacation leave
credits/service credits shall be charged against savings of the department,
agency, or local government unit concerned.
Provided that in the utilization of savings, agencies shall give priority to payment
of monetized leave credits/service credits and provided further that employees
holding positions below salary grade 19 shall be given preference in the
availment of the privilege.
Once Tubod National High School confirms the availability of funds, the Office of
the Schools Division Superintendent is prepared to release the approved Form 6
and your Employee’s Leave Ledger Card.
Please note that, in accordance with our procedures, the approved List of
Availing Monetization of Leave Credits cannot be released directly to you for
hand-carrying.
