Description
1. GENERAL
1.1 This manual is made in accordance with the requirements set out in the specification S1000D. It
is intended to give such data as is necessary for an approved repairer to put an unserviceable
completion kit back to a serviceable condition.
2. MANUFACTURING
2.1 The Completion Kit is made and product supported by:
3. MANUAL LAYOUT
3.1 This manual includes the sections that follow:
PMC-

□ Technical content
□ Description and Operation
□ Testing and Fault Isolation
□ Maintenance and Servicing:
□ Cleaning
□ Check
□ Repair
□ Fits and Clearances
□ Removal
□ Installation
□ Servicing
□ Storage (Including Transportation)
□ Illustrated Parts Data
4. MAINTENANCE POLICY
4.1 The component maintenance manual gives procedures that will let an approved repairer, who is
unfamiliar with the component, put the completion kit back to a serviceable condition. These
procedures are prepared for the repairer who does the shop work. All of the procedures used in
this manual are in accordance with the usual standard practices. For more detailed instructions,
contact Zodiac Galleys Europe Aftersales.
4.2 Length of screws used in clamp installations and grounding details is only approximate and
must be ensured by the repairer as required.
4.3 Parts which are bonded by means of double sided adhesive tape (P/N 220516-17 or P/N
220516-15) must be reassembled by means of the exactly same type of the tape which is
already installed on the spare part supplied. Before its installation, make sure that the surface of
the structure is clear of any remaining tape. In case of any questions, contact Zodiac Galleys
Europe Aftersales.
4.4 All expendable parts (screws, nuts, and washers) must be replaced with new items, regardless of
the condition of the items removed. Keep the same color identification if applied. In case of any
questions, contact Zodiac Galleys Europe Aftersales.
4.5 Installations that are self-locking, must be installed without a thread locking adhesive (All
monuments should be built with self-locking fasteners, as far as possible). Installations that are
NON self-locking must be secured by thread locking adhesive Loctite 242 (or equivalent). In
case of any questions, contact Zodiac Galleys Europe Aftersales.
4.6 All parts and assemblies are to be re-sealed after installation or reassembly by means of silicone
sealant. In case of any questions, contact Zodiac Galleys Europe Aftersales.
4.7 By default, all replaceable parts are supplied without decorative material. Parts can be delivered
with decorative materials only on request at Zodiac Galleys Europe Aftersales. For P/Ns of
decorative materials, refer to Master CMM (Trim and Finish).
5. REVISION SERVICE
5.1 This manual will be updated as necessary by revisions. Changes to hardware given in service
bulletins will be included in this manual with revisions.
PMC-
5.2 When a service bulletin is issued, it will be listed in Technical standard record (Data module
008A-C) of this CMM.
6. SHOP VERIFICATION
6.1 The sections in this manual are approved. The applicable tasks of disassembly, testing and
assembly were done at Driessen Aerospace Group NV.
7. MEASUREMENT UNITS
7.1 All the units in this manual are metric with English equivalents shown in brackets. Units of
temperature are in degrees Celsius and Fahrenheit shown in brackets.

Procedure
1. Job Description
1.1 This section contains the procedure for removal.
PMC-
2.1 The galley is an integrally-bonded structure which is made from sandwich panels and aluminium
extrusions. The disassembly of unit causes unwanted effect to its structural integrity.
2.2 Parts which are bonded by means of double sided adhesive tape (P/N 220516-17 or P/N
220516-15) must be reassembled by means of the exactly same type of the tape, which is
already installed on the spare part supplied. Before its installation, make sure that the surface of
the structure is clear of any remaining tape.
2.3 All expendable parts (screws, nuts, and washers) must be replaced with new items, regardless of
the condition of the items removed. Keep the same color identification if applied.
2.4 Installations that are self-locking, must be installed without a thread locking adhesive (All
monuments should be built with self-locking fasteners, as far as possible). Installations that are
NON self-locking must be secured by thread locking adhesive Loctite 242 (or equivalent).
2.5 All parts and assemblies are to be re-sealed after installation or reassembly by means of
silicone sealant.
3. Job Set-up
3.1 As the panelling used to assemble the unit is very strong and durable, disassembly instructions
found herein are restricted to removal of the galley system from the aircraft and removal of
high-wear, easily damaged components of disassembly necessary to access those items which
must be repaired and/or replaced.
3.2 The galley must be disassembled to the extent necessary to replace parts. Do the necessary
repairs and/or overhaul the unit. Full disassembly is not anticipated or recommended.
3.3 Remove everything that impede disassembling. For detailed instructions refer to relevant
completion kit CMM (ACMM). All applicable completion kits are listed in Master CMM (MCMM).
PMC-
4. Procedure
CAUTION
Be careful when removing screws or bolts attaching a part to the panelling. Threaded
inserts, which are installed in the panelling to receive screws or bolts, are installed there
with potting compound. If these inserts are damaged too much, it will be necessary to
replace them.
Note
Carefully examine all rivet, spot weld, or bonded assemblies and components before
installation/assembly. Do not remove these items unless necessary because of damage or
other necessary for replacement. If replacement is necessary, refer to the applicable parts
of repair section for detailed instructions.

Description
1. Procedure
1.1 General
This Illustrated Parts Data (IPD) contains all replaceable parts of the Completion Kit.
1.2 Organization
1.2.1 Introduction
The introduction gives the basic data that is necessary to use the IPD.
This list presents all of the manufacturers whose part numbers can possibly appear in IPD.
PMC-
This chapter lists part numbers in alphanumerical sequence with reference to the figure and item
numbers and units per assembly.
The structure of the part numbers is as follows (from the left side to the right side):
– a dash
– A through Z (without ’O’ as zero)
– 0 to 9
The optional vendor index (OVI) lists the standard part numbers and the related optional part
numbers of Driessen Aerospace Group NV.
Terms Definition
FIGURE /ITEM (FIG. / ITEM) The first number in the first line of a page
shows the number of the figure that shows
the part. The second number shows the item
number by which the part is identified on the
illustration. A dash in front of the item number
shows that the part is not illustrated.
PART NUMBER The part number column has the original
manufacturer's part numbers.When standard
part numbers are used, the standard part
number is listed in this column.
AIRLINE STOCK NUMBER (AIRL. STOCK The column airline stock number is blank for
NO.) airline internal use.
INDENTURE (IND) The indenture system shows the connection
of the parts and the assemblies to next higher
assemblies that follow:
– . Assembly
– .. Detail parts of assembly or
sub-assembly
– ... Detail parts of sub-assembly or
sub-subassembly
