Key information
1989: The start of Saigon Newport Brand. SNP was
founded on March 15th, 1989.
1992: The start of Container Terminal Operation.
The only premise was Tan Cang Terminal in
Hochiminh City. (Now Landmark 81).
2004 - 2005: The development of the container
terminal operation. Transformed into a holding
company in December 2006. Transformed into a

Cat Lai Port is operated by Port Operation
Center - Saigon Newport Corporation.
The area in the port is divided into 3
terminals A, B, and C with a separate area
for refrigerated containers and a separate
berth dedicated to receiving barges and
packing rice.
Inside Cat Lai Port, there are 3 empty
container management depots, the
outside area has 4 linked depots.
