List of duties that can be assigned to school prefects to help maintain discipline and

support school activities:

1. Ensuring Discipline

 Monitoring student behavior in hallways, classrooms, and common areas.


 Enforcing school rules, such as proper dress code, punctuality, and respectful
behavior.
 Reporting serious disciplinary issues to teachers or school administrators.

2. Supervising Activities

 Overseeing the lunchroom, playgrounds, and dismissal time to ensure order.


 Assisting in the management of lines during assemblies and other gatherings.
 Supervising younger students during recess or transitions between classes.

3. Supporting Teachers and Staff

 Helping organize classroom setups or arranging materials for lessons.


 Assisting during parent-teacher meetings, open days, or school events.
 Distributing notices, circulars, or other communication to students.

4. Representing the School

 Welcoming guests, dignitaries, or new students to the school.


 Representing the student body at official school functions or external events.
 Acting as an ambassador during inter-school competitions, conferences, or trips.

5. Organizing Events

 Assisting in the planning and execution of school events like sports days, drama
productions, or cultural festivals.
 Coordinating student participation in competitions, fairs, or exhibitions.
