Panda

The crochet pattern includes description of the panda. This crochet pattern does
not contain crocheting lessons.
According to the chosen yarn, the toy turns out to be the size of 10cm (if you
will crochet with YarnArt Jeans) or 21cm (if you will crochet with Himalaya
Dolphin Baby). The size of the toy also depends on the density of your crocheting.

1. For the toy of 10 cm:
- yarn YarnArt Jeans. Colors: white, black.
- filler (holofiber)
- black Iris «Gamma» for the nose
- safety eyes d=6mm
- hook №2
- needle for sewing the details.
2. For the toy of 21cm:
- yarn Himalaya Dolphin Baby or YarnArt Dolce (half a skein).
Colors: white, black.
- black YarnArt Jeans for the nose
- filler (holofiber)
- safety eyes d=8 or 10 mm
- hook №3.5 or №4
- needle with a large eye for sewing (long and short)

Symbols:
Crochet in spiral without chain stitches and slip stitches.
sc – single crochet
inc. - increase
dec. – decrease

Head
Crochet with white yarn.
Row 1: 6 sc in magic ring

Next, add the black yarn. Don’t cut off the threads, alternate the colors.

Secure the black thread from the back side. Continue crocheting with white yarn.
Row 12: (3 sc, dec.) – repeat 6 times {24}

Insert safety eyes between the 9th and 10th rows (counting from above), the
distance between the eyes is 5 sc (the places for inserting of the eyes are marked
with circles in photo 1). You can melt the leg with help of a lighter flame from the
back side and flatten it with the base of the lighter. Photo 2 shows the back side.

Leave the long thread end for sewing. Fill the head.

Take the long black thread and the needle,

embroider "gaps" on the spots. Leave the long
thread end to tie a knot at the end.

Make the stitch from point 1 to point 2.

Next, embroider the second spot.

Make the stitch from point 5 to point 6.

Row 1: Crochet 4 ch. From the 2nd stitch from the hook: 2 sc, 3 sc in one stitch

Crochet on the other side of the chain - 2 sc, 3 sc in one stitch

Place the marker.

Row 2: 2 sc, inc., inc., 2 sc, inc., inc., 1 sc {13}

Row 3: 13 sc, sl st {13}. Leave the long thread end for sewing.

Sew on the nose (try to sew on the nose on the area which is marked on the
photo) and fill it not tightly. For the comfortable sewing, you can pin the nose to
the head with needles. Secure the thread and hide it inside.

Take black YarnArt Jeans, pass it through the hole in the neck (leave the long
thread end) and output it in the center of the nose. Start the embroidery.

Embroider the black lines and output the thread through the neck. Tie a knot and
hide the thread inside the head.

Ears (2 details)
Crochet with black yarn.

Row 1: 6 sc in magic ring

Row 2: (1 sc, inc.) – repeat 3 times {9}

Leave the long thread end for sewing. Sew on the

ears at the distance of 8 sc, secure the thread and
hide it inside the head.

Arms (2 details)
Crochet with black yarn.

Leave the long thread end on the first arm. Secure, hide and cut off the thread on
the second arm. Using a needle, move the thread a little to the side – the place
where the hand will be sewn to the body.

Fill the leg, give the desired shape with hands.

Leave the long thread end for sewing on the first leg. Secure, hide and cut off the
thread on the second leg. Using a needle, move the thread a little to the side –
the place where the leg and the body will be connected (between the 2nd and 3rd
rows counting from above the legs).

Secure the thread and hide it inside. Fill the body.

Assembly
Sew on the head to the body with white thread which was left after the
crocheting of the head.

Sew on the arms with thread attachment. You need the needle with large eye:
take the arm with long thread end and insert the needle through the body
between the 1st and 2nd rows (counting from the above the neck, from the black
color). Attach the second arm. Make the stitch on the second arm and again
insert the needle through the “the second arm-body-the first arm”. Repeat the
same one more time. Try to get to the same place.

Next, make the stitch and output the needle from the back of the body, where
the black rows start. Secure the thread and hide it inside.

Sew on the legs in the same way. Take the leg with long thread end and insert the
needle through the body (between the 7th and 8th rows counting from below) and
attach the second leg. Make the stitch on the second leg and again insert the
needle through the body and the first leg. Repeat the same one more time. Try to
get to the same place.

Make the stitch and output the thread from the back of the body, where the black
rows start. Secure the thread and hide it inside.

Tail
Crochet with white yarn.

Row 1: 6 sc in magic ring

Row 2: (1 sc, inc.) – repeat 3 times {9}

Row 3: 9 sc

Leave the long thread end. Sew on the tail from behind, fill it a little. Secure and
