REQUIRED MATERIALS:
1. Hooks size 1.75 and 1.25 mm;
2.Sport weight/4ply yarn YarnArt Jeans, color 78 (bright pink)- for clothing and
flower;
3.Sport weight/4ply yarn YarnArt Jeans, color 70 (brown)- 1,5 ball for head and
body;
4.Sport weight/4ply yarn YarnArt Jeans, color 67 (yellow)- 1/3 a ball for Crop top
and flower;
5.Sport weight/4ply yarn YarnArt Jeans, color 07 (beige)- 1/2 a ball for head, arms
and legs;

11.Wire with a diameter of 1.2-1.4 mm, 200 m long (I used floristic wire, 5pcs. of
40cm each, diameter 1.4 mm) for legs, arms, body, tail and neck frame;
12.Adhesive plaster or tape for insulating;
13.Needle for sewing pieces, sewing pins for sewing pieces;
14.Scissors;
15.Toys stuffing material.

When using these materials, the height of the monkey is 23-24 cm. You can use
similar materials (in composition, footage) to create a toy.

2.4inc, 2 sl st. Leave a long tail for sewing
pieces.

Sew the lip to Rnd 31 of the head - see photo.

EYES (make 2)- hook size 1.25 mm:

Divide the yarn in half and crochet in 2 threads:
Black yarn:
1.6sc in MR (6)

Short round, do not work along the last 2sl st.
Fasten off, but do not cut the yarn. We will use
it for crocheting around the eye and sewing
pieces.

! Pay attention to the color change: attach the new yarn by crocheting the last
two loops on the hook.
Green yarn:
4.ch1, turn:
2sc, inc, 2hdc, 2hdcinc, 2hdc, inc, 2sc (16)
Do not work along the last 4 sc. Form a
semicircle.
Change color to white. Fasten off and cut the
green yarn.

White yarn:
5.ch1, turn:
3sc, inc, 3hdc, 2hdcinc, 3hdc, inc, 3sc (20).
Change color to black (use the remaining yarn
end).

Black yarn:
1sc in the last white stitch. Turn and crochet
along the straight side: 1sc, 4sl st, 2sc, sl st.
White yarn:
Embroider glare and leave a long tail for
sewing pieces.
 Sew on the eyes through back loops with the
remaining black and white ends between Rnds
18 and 25. Distance between the eyes - 4sc
between the lower edges, 6sc between the
upper edges. Leave the black yarn end for face
decoration. Fasten off and cut the white yarn.
Embroider eyelids and eyebrows and with a
black thread.

CHEEKS (make 2)- hook size 1.75 mm:

Light pint yarn:
1.6sc in MR (6)
2.6inc (12), sl st. Fasten off and leave a long
tail for sewing pieces.

Sew the cheeks to the sides through back

loops, moving 2-3sc to the sides from the
muzzle.
EARS (make 2) – hook size 1.75 mm:
Do not stuff!

piece of wire 40 cm and form a loop at one end - see photo. Then carefully wrap
it with adhesive plaster or insulating tape. Insert the wrapped wire into the tail.
Stuff.

Continue crocheting the tail:

14-63.14sc- 50 rounds (14). Fasten off and cut
the yarn.
ARMS (make 2)- hook size 1.75 mm:
Consists of the fingers, palm and main part.
Fingers:
Do not stuff!
Beige yarn:
Index finger, middle finger, ring finger:
1.5sc in MR (5)
2-5.5sc- 4 rounds (5). Fasten off and cut the
yarn.

Thumb, little finger:

1.5sc in MR (5)
2-4.5sc- 3 rounds (5). Fasten off and cut the yarn on the thumb, continue
crocheting the palm from the little finger.

we will use it to strengthen the neck.
Take 2 pieces of wire 40 cm each and form a loop at one end of each. Then
carefully wrap the pieces of wire with adhesive plaster or insulating tape. Insert
the wrapped wire into the hand - see photo. Stuff only the palm, do not stuff the
fingers!

Continue crocheting:
14-25.14sc- 12 rounds (14). Finish off in the
middle of the back part. Fasten off and cut the
yarn.
LEGS (make 2)- hook size 1.75 mm:
Consists of toes, feet and main part.
Toes:

1.Attach the yarn, fixing it with ch1, 1sc in the same stitch, 3sc, 1sc into the corner
- point 1, 7sc, 1sc into the corner – point 2, 3sc (16), 1extra sc- marker in the
middle of the back part.
2-4.16sc- 3 rounds (16)

Insert a wire frame.

Take 2 pieces of wire 40 cm each and form a loop at one end of each. Then
carefully wrap the pieces of wire with adhesive plaster or insulating tape. Bend
the wire in the shape of the foot and insert it into the leg - see photo. Stuff only
the foot, do not stuff the fingers!

Continue crocheting:
5-6.16sc- 2 rounds (16), 1extra sc

of a new round beginning.
2.inc, 20sc, inc, 9sc, inc, 20sc, inc, 5sc- short
round, do not work along the last 4sc – move
the marker to the middle of the back.

crochet the tail.
Bend the wire of the legs inside the body,
twisting it. Do not isolate it, we will do it later
with the tail frame. Do not cut the wire - the
frame of the body - see photo. Continue to
crochet.
11.In this round join the tail. First work along the
lower part of the tail, then along the upper part
of the tail. Mark on the tail 7 stitches (marked in
the photo with a contrasting thread).

Bend the wire frame from the tail inside the

Bend the wire of the arms under the

physiological structure of the shoulders, twist it
together with the wire of the body.

 Cut the excess wire ends, leaving 6 cm (it will
strengthen the neck and make it movable).
Isolate them. Stuff the shoulders and neck
tightly.

TUMMY – hook size 1.75 mm:

I did not make the tummy for my monkey, because she wears clothes, but you can
crochet the tummy.

Sew the tummy to the body between Rnds 6

and 19.
 Sew the head to the body, stitch to stitch,
stuffing the neck in the process.

MONKEY is ready!
T-short - hook size 1.75 mm:
Work in rows, making ch1 at the end of each row!
Leave the yarn end 15cm long at the beginning – for a button loop.
Yellow color:
1.ch37, from the second chain on the hook:

2.2sc, inc, 2sc; ch10 – skip 9sc (armhole),
(2sc, inc) *2, 2sc; ch10 – skip 9sc (armhole),

Button loops: ch8 with the remaining yarn tail,

sl st in the same stitch. Fasten off and cut the
yarn. Upper button loop is ready.
Stretch the yarn end with a needle along the
edge to the middle of the Crop top - make 2nd
button loop in the same way. Fasten off and cut
the yarn. We get 2 button loops.

Sleeves edging:
For the right sleeve: from the back to the front, for the left sleeve: from the front
to the back. Insert a hook to the side stitch, (see photo below), make sl st, fasten
off and crochet:
(5hdc in one stitch, sl st) *5, crochet the last sl st into the side stitch. Fasten off
and cut the yarn.
Crochet the 2nd sleeve in the same way.

Sew on buttons 10-12 mm from the opposite side, symmetrically to the button
loops.
You can decorate the Crop top as you wish. I used 2 pink figured buttons 5-6 mm
in the form of hearts.

3-10.108sc- 8 rounds (108). Fasten off and cut the yarn.
Crochet on the other side of the foundation chain:
1-2.54sc- 2 rounds (54). Fasten off and cut the yarn.

FLOWER - hook size 1.75 mm:

The flower consists of centers and 2 layers of petals.
Yellow color:
10sc in MR – middle of the flower.
Change color to bright pink.
Bright pink yarn:
Petal: ch7, from the second chain on the hook:
1sc, 4hdc, 1sc, skip 1stitch on the middle and
1sl st in the next stitch.
 Thus crochet 4 more petals. We get 5 petals in
the first layer.

Crochet 5 petals of the second layer in the same

way. Work in the skipped stitches.
Fasten off and cut the yarn.

Middle:
Yellow:
1.6 sc in MR (6)
2.(1sc, inc) *3 (9)
3.9sc (9). Turn to the wrong side. Leave a long tail
for sewing pieces.

Sew the middle to the center of the flower.

Fix and cut the ends.
Sew the flower to the head.
