If you want to make a big cat out of plush yarn like in the photo
you will need the following materials:
- Hook 5,5 mm
- Yarn Adelia Mimi - 3 skeins of gray and less than one skein of white.
- Copper wire 160-170 cm (diameter 2 mm). This wire will need to be twisted in half.
- Copper wire 70-75 cm (diameter 2 mm). This wire will need to be twisted in half.
- plastic nose 30 mm at its widest point
- plastic pupils (diameter 15 mm)
- false eyelashes
For a large cat, you need to make eyelids (for small cats, eyelids are not needed)
according to the scheme:
Cast on 7 ch, then knit in the 2nd loop from the hook:
6 sc, 1 ch, turn
1 dec, 2 sc, 1 dec, leave the yarn to sew on the eyelids above the eyes
When you start to shape the head, then just sew these eyelids over the eyes. Everything
else is done according to the pattern below.

R13: 6 dec = (6), the yarn is cut and removed. To embroider on each foot fingers (pic. 9).
Sew legs as shown in the picture 10.
Front legs (2 parts):
R1: start 6 sc in a magic ring = (6)

R11-R20: 6 sc = (6), leave about 9 inches of yarn to sew the front legs to the body (pic. 11).
Take the wire length of 13 cm (~5 inches) if the wire is thin, then twist it in half (pic. 12),
to pass through the body as shown in pic. 13.
To put front legs on the wire and sew to body (pic. 14).
Ears (2 pieces):
R1: start 6 sc in a magic ring = (6)

R11: 24 sc = (24), the yarn is not cut. The ears (pic. 15). Each of the ear to sew the bottom
of one row of sc to the middle (pic. 16), in the open part to add filler, not too tightly. Make
the ears symmetrical to each other.
Sew ears to head as shown in pic. 17
Muzzle:
Cast on 7 ch, knit in 2nd loop from hook - 5 sc, 5 sc in one loop, knit on reverse side -
4 sc, 4 sc in one loop, in the next loop to place the marker = (18)
R1: 6 sc, 2 inc, 8 sc, 2 inc = (22)
R2: 7 sc, 2 inc, 9 sc, 2 inc, 2 sc = (26)
R3-R4: 26 sc = (26), leave yarn to sew muzzle to head (pic. 18).
To fix the muzzle on the head (pic. 19).
Sew muzzle to the head and as you sew tightly stuff the muzzle with filler. To take white
yarn and hard to pull off in the middle (pic. 20). Cut the yarn.
Mouth: 6 sc in a magic ring, sew mouth (pic. 21).
To take a decorative nose, in our case we used a velvety pink nose, the widest point is 12
mm. If the nose have a "leg", remove it completely with pliers (pic. 22).
Nose stick transparent super glue to the muzzle (pic. 23).
Next, embroider the bangs the same color yarn (pic. 24).
To make holes for the eyes (pic. 25). Insert the needle with the yarn at the point 1 and
pull from point 2, then insert the needle in point 3 and pull from point 4, to tighten, to
make a strong knot in the center points 1 and 4, the ends of hide, the yarn is cut.
Make eyes. We need white polymer clay, plastic coloured pupils (in our case, yellow) and
black decorative eyelash length of 8 mm. Width eyelashes choose at your own discretion
(pic. 26).
Make balls of clay, the pupils remove the legs if they are, as well as with the nose. Insert
eyeballs in soft clay a little crushing, and carefully take out the pupils (see pic. 26). The
resulting form of the clay is sent to harden. When the clay is solid in the middle to drip a
drop of transparent super glue and paste back your pupils, so they are hard to grasp.
Waiting for complete drying and glue eye lashes super glue as shown in pic. 26. Also
embroider the cat's whiskers, in our case is used a black thin line (pic. 27).
                                      Cat is ready!
